Tyler's Burgers

I enjoy their food here. Lots of mouth watering flavor and I like the super fast way they get the food out to you, without feeling hurried. More accurately, I think I should say that the food comes out in successions, at the perfect timing. more

The people at home 101 referred us to this burger hotspot! Said it is Suzanne Somers choice for a great burger, noticed on menu there is a burger named after her....101 also told me to try the fabulous potato salad....O M G!!!!!!! ......Try this joint out....fantastic! more

I grew up in Philly (land of the cheese steak) and lived in New York and then L.A. and San Francisco over the next 30 years. I've eaten hamburgers from coast to coast and no burger I ever ate was as delicious, fresh, tender and tasty as Tyler's. Everything is prepared fresh that day including fresh ground high quality beef, fabuloso, heavenly rich and creamy cole slaw and potato salad. No left over grease for their fries. FRESH, FRESH, FRESH and delicious. And, YES, the service is slow, but if you're looking for fast....go to McDonald's. If you want the very best of the best and don't mind the wait for high quality burgers and all the fresh sides, then TYLER'S is the place you've been looking for. While the food is comparable to anything out there the service leaves much to be desired. The servers help those who they feel will tip them well while ignoring everyone else. The bus staff seems to be a bit more helpful than the owner. If you are looking for a place to waste time dont mind the heat and slow service give tylers a try, Otherwise avoid it like a bad cold. They have frys that are greasy buns that are hard and the meat is undercooked while keeping the grease to drip off like ice cream on a hot summers day. This place should be sold to someone who wants to live up to the hype about the name because its so bad its just a shame. Visited here in April 2007. After waiting in line, we were finally seated and then totally ignored by our server. She passed us several times waiting on other customers and never even acknowledged us. The busser kept coming back asking if we had been helped. We told him 'No', and then saw him go to the server and tell her to help us. She walked by and said she would be right with us, but never came. She tended to her gay customers who were seated after us wonderfully. They got lots of attention and great service. I don't know what her problem was, but after 30 mins. we got up and left. We went down the street to the Kaiser Grille and had a delicious meal and absolutely phenomenal service! We came back to Tyler's and spoke with the owner. She seemed concerned and offered us a free meal, but we were on our way out of town. I can't comment on the food since we never got to taste it, but we will never return due to the tall blonde. more

Order a giant burger, or surprisingly thick sliders with grilled onions, a side of slaw and a chocolate shake for a truly memorable meal. Friendly, smiling waitstaff and a welcoming owner make you feel at home. They also have beer, an added bonus for a burger stand. Pros: Uncompromising quality, delicious food and friendly service Cons: Can get really crowded. Closed on Sundays. more
