Two Men and a Truck

We hired these movers to load a container to move my mother's furniture to Omaha. They showed total disregard for her things and every piece of furniture arrived damaged.Because they were only responsible for the load portion of the move, we had no recourse. We thought we were hiring professionals that would properly pack the container, but even I know not to stack wrought iron patio furniture and heavy boxes on top of an unprotected antique dining table. Who would stand a 48-inch glass table top on its side to bounce on the bottom of the container for a thousand miles? They thought that was a good idea too.\r \r We were originally told by the manager, Dana Oze that she was sickened by the damage and would cover the repair costs. We submitted the estimates as she directed and then she said she wouldn't pay for the over $4800 in damages. My grandmother's dining table is now little more than firewood and I am left with a hefty repair bill. We have used Two Men and a Truck before, but NEVER AGAIN. more

The customer service rep that booked my reservation was excellent!! He called back with updated info and went above and beyond his duty to find a rate that fit my personal needs!! He also reassured me that my movers would be prompt and professional - And they were!! I would use this service again and I have already referred it to my real estate agent and military buddies. Ken and solo were very professional and courteous. Although they were late they did call to inform me that they were running\r behind. they were very careful with my furniture and that was one of my biggest concerns. o would recommend to anyone!\r \r Move Date: 1/31/2011\r D. Owens more

Very nice people! They took care in moving, and were very accommodating. Moving can be a stressful event, but these guys really helped take the stress out. Very efficient. more

I would be very cautious about using Two Men and a Truck - I had a very negative experience with them in my last move, starting with them arriving more than two hours late, it took them approximately 3 hours longer than estimated (and I had tacked on an extra hour to the long end of the their estimate) to move and they spent almost two hours in traffic, due to their late arrival and general disregard for effective packing, moving and organization. The guys they sent were friendly enough but I did not feel as though they were well-trained or highly motivated either. The manager was not very customer-focused when I spoke with him and I basically had to refuse to pay for some of the hours before he was willing to listen to my issues and accept that there were issues with the move. For the money I spent, I could have utilized a much more effective and professional moving company. I would advise you to research the specific location that you are using and see if you can find some reviews for that actual location - they are franchised so each one is done differently. more

This company is the best that I have experienced in 10 moves over the past 30 years. They showed up on time, they had experienced movers who were polite and professional. Everything I had heard about this company was true and what was surprising was how I expected something to go wrong and nothing did! The movers even stayed to rearrange some things for about 15 minutes AFTER I had paid them. GREAT JOB! Pros: Professional, Experienced, Efficent Cons: No Office Near Parent more
