Two Men And A Truck

I don't think there is a single piece of furniture they did not damage. They also put two gouges in my walls and scratched a third wall. They promised to not load furniture on top of my piano, which they did. I could not be in two places at once -- overseeing what was going on in the house and what was being loaded on the truck. Horrible, unspeakable damage to my belongings. Additionally, they did not load all the furniture I asked them to because it required breaking down storage units, which they just did not want to do (the units were in the basement, therefore I did not realize they neglected to do this until after they left). They scratched, dented, banged up numerous items. DO NOT HIRE. I used the Livonia, Michigan franchise. more

Horrible experience, I thought this was supposed to be a professional company. First of all my movers were an hour late, they showed up smelling like marijuana, and when I started to show them what was going they started getting upset. Terrible attitudes and the office people were of no help, it seemed like once they got my deposit money they got what they needed.... And on top of all of this a job that should of taken no more then 4 hours ended up taking over 8 hours, that's what I get for using a place that charges by the hour. I would avoid this company, save yourself money and time, rent a truck and do it yourself. I will never recommend or refer this company to anyone I care about more

Horrible experience. Movers were unprofessional. Within the first 5 minutes one mover used my bathroom without asking and was in there for at least 10 minutes...needless to say he smelled up my apartment. I have a room and a half of items. I had one larger item and my move was only a 10 minute drive. I was charged 400$ based on three hours of service. At one point the movers were moving so slow, I... started to help move items myself. They were kind enough to hand me the "light" items out of the truck!!! (sarcasm)I think they were taking advantage of the fact that I am female and was the only one there because when my male friend showed up over half way through the move- all of a sudden the pace picked up. I talked with co-workers and they said in their expereince the movers took 3 hours to move an entire HOUSE....I lived in an apartment- again one and a half rooms. At the end of the move the men asked me to initial that I was satisfied with the service... I do not think this is fair b more

Wow Thanks for sending out the Two Men and a Truck work crew.\r Daryl and Keaton the movers took good care of my items.\r I am so glad I called Two Men in Livonia. I called made a reservation\r paid a deposit and the Truck arrived on Thursday ready to go.\r I am glad i called because the reservation was done quickly by e-mail and i had packing tips sent to me and it even helped me pack my own household goods. I have told everybody in my clinic to call Two Men in Livonia Best movers around I don't know why I ever thought about doing it myself. These guys had dolly's, plastic wrap,pads and straps to protect my furniture and tools to take everything apart and put it back together. I will never ever move by myself again. I will drink my coffee and call the professionals at Two Men and a Truck, they made it so easy. more

I am taking the time to write a review because my movers did an excellent job. They arrived on time. They wrapped my furniture and protected it. I was able to talk to them and they gave me helpful hints on how to pack my stuff in boxes and not loose in plastic bags. That was my plan but they were so helpful t o get my apt moved.\r Thanks to Two Men and a Truck. Regards Bill more

Movers were slow, charge hourly. One of them took my girlfriends phone number off of the paper work after the job and started texting her, attempting to flirt. I would avoid using the livonia location if at all possible. Nice, but not proffessional. If you are paying this much for a service you should not have any problems like this. more

I used this company first and my last time. Movers came on time, were nice. While they were nice, they were slow and unorganized. They could stare they the chair for 5 min before lift it. Movers are paid hourly therefore they are moving as slow as possible. I had to pay $2000 only for moving my furniture, without any packing or packing (And we moved to the house only 2 mile away!)\r We received pre-estimate for 8 hr, and it turn to be 10 hr.\r My recommendation is not to use this company. The people in this company are not honest; they are taking advantage of you and your pocket. It was a complete rip off. \r I will keep telling this to everyone. more

After the tragic death of my step father, it was decided my mom should move in with my son and I. We contracted with Two Men and a Truck in Livonia - our movers were Robert and Cash. I cannot say enough good things about these two men. They were thoughtful, considerate, willing and so hardworking in the 90 degree heat that they just amazed us. I recommend them very highly. They were great!!!!! more

I've used them two times and am about to use them again. Good success the first time, but the second time, they were SLOW, I felt I needed to keep them moving. When you are paying by the hour, this should not happen. I felt like they were just making money for their company. In setting up this new move with them, I mentioned my concerns. I was treated with respect and told two of the three movers were no longer with them. I guess I was not the only one who complained.\r \r I hope I have better success this next time or it will be my last time with them. more

I've used Two Men before without any problems, but the Livonia Crew that moved me this last time was, unfortunately, terrible. While they were nice, they were slow and unorganized (which came out of my pocket). Boxes marked "fragile" were bashed in; two pieces of furniture were damaged; misc. items broken; they didn't take items they should have--including some of their own tools; they lost a file container that contained important, personal documents. And this was only a move a half mile away! more

I have used Two men and a truck before and I was very happy. I thought all of my stuff was going to be broke and mess but I was so wrong. Everything went smoothy and nothing was broke. The guys worked hard to get everything loaded/unloaded and were not slacking off. Would use again in the future. more

I was so pleasantly surprised by this moving company. We scheduled our move and chose them to transport the heavier furniture to our new house. The two gentlemen that showed up to help were fantastic. They were overbooked and apologetic for being late. They were very careful with the furniture but were also very time efficient. What stood out the most was their great attitude! Both men were cheerful and joked often and made what is usually a dreaded job so much nicer! We appreciated the great effort!
