I can honestly say that this is the single worst place I have ever been in my entire life!!! If you are uninsured and looking for a place to go on Rule 25 so that the state pays for it keep looking! The staff for the most part was horrible and very disorganized, within the first few hours I was offered crack and watched 3 deals go down, people would go into other peoples rooms and steal from them and try to sell the stuff to other patients, the place literally feels like your in prison. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is not a treatment facility, it is a free for all and you could probably find more drugs there than on the streets. more

I was admitted to TTTC April 11, 1984 while intoxicated. I've not had a drink since. I'm not a resident of MN and haven't been to TTTC since I left in May of 1984. At the time I was there, the facility was small enough that one really couldn't ""hide"" and escape being treated. At that time every employee at TTTC, including the doctor who came to the facility, were all either abstinent alcoholics/drug users or Al Anon people. Making the statement, ""You don't know what it's like"" was therefore impossible to use. Anyone caught using was discharged immediately and everyone was informed by staff, not hearsay, exactly why the individual was discharged. I did what I was told to do, for the first time in my life, and while I was not ""comfortable"" there, they're obviously doing something right or I wouldn't have nearly 30 years of abstinence in. more

This place is awful, everyone is very unprofessional and they don't seem to care much about your treatment, they just get you through to finish whatever they need. Avoid at all costs. more
