First ate here in 1958 when it was one end of the ""draggin' main"" circuit for US Navy sailors and local schoolies. It hasn't changed a lot, especially the battered fries. Mmmm...

Best fries anywhere, and real smoked pork 9/3/2007

You know there's something good here when you see the large woodpiles out back. Solid pulled pork with plenty of other dinner plate specials if you're not after 'cue. The battered fries are my must-have favorite. Hands down the best fries anywhere. more
