Twice As Nice is a boutique where you can find clothing at a cheaper price and a place for trading in old clothes for credit to buy other clothes. The store is not as clean and well kept as department stores and has a weird odor when walking in. Sometimes the clothes are priced cheap but are not worth the money to buy. Occasionally if searching long enough you can find something that you actually want and look decent in it. more

Hi there. Hey Shannon, I agree! I live on the Eastside and have gone to the Twice as Nice on Broadway near Kolb. I have noticed the very same thing you and other Moms have........ I lug in BAGS of items, only to sell them two. Then I have to juggle kids, and all those bags right back out to the car. What did I end up with for my trouble? Frustration and a certificate to spend in THEIR store. The "cash value" for the two shirts was so low as to be a joke. So, I took the certificate. I used it many months later, and they made money off of me cuz the item I purchased was more than the certificate. Overall, it was just waaaaaaaaaay too much of a hassle to ever do again. My suggestion........have a garage sale or sell on e-bay, then take the cash to Target!!!! There are several real thrift stores around this side of town who sell for much better prices. I have hit a couple on the East side, mostly for Halloween, this year and the prices are very reasonable. So, now I donate my toys and clothes to the needy (or to my friends.........haven't tried e-bay myself yet.), and shop elsewhere! Sorry Twice as Nice, but I just don't get it!!! more

Twice as nice is an ok store. I have not had very good experiences there especially when I am trying to trade clothing items in. I am not the only person with this experience. Many moms and friends I have spoken with have had the same issue. You take a bunch of new or near new items in thinking you will get lots of credit to purchase other items... you find out that they only want 1-2 of your items and they have *reasons* why they dont want the other stuff. You end up lugging all your stuff back out of the store. I have also found that some of thier prices are very high for used clothing. I can buy some stuff new for the prices they are charging. I have also found clothing with stains, tears, missing buttons etc... Twice as nice is not a store that I would suggest or make a habit visiting. more
