Twice As Nice

I know the prices of many goods and merchandise. Twice as nice means twice the price. I have evidence to prove my allegation. 50 lbs of flour is $10.00 while twice as Nice marks it up to $27.00, I took the pic. canned milk is marked up to $4.90 while in Safeway its$1.20 (I have Pic). I am suspicious of this store, why they mark prices from 200% to 500 % more,than regular store. of course, they know nobody will buy then they will claim losses. Why a company sells rejected or "not for Sale item for such a high price. I feel they have another business but twice as nice is set up legally with lots of losses. I am shocked that , employees keep a tip jar. twice as nice have four to five store that sells goods at the highest price, why employees need to be tipped. Worst of all, employees makeup their price. . Shoppers be aware. more

I have shopped at Twice as for over 13 years. Many great deals, but their prices are sometimes only 10% to 15% lower than Costco (It used to 40% to 60%). Be sure to check for broken, damaged, and missing pcs. They let you open up up, plug in, try on, assemble and inspect before you buy, don't be rude and ask before opening factory sealed boxes. Prices are negotiable especially on furniture or large bulky items. They fully refund returns with receipts, nonrefundable items are clearly marked, and most Electronics have a 30 day guarantee. In over 13 years I have bought hundreds of items from pressure washers ($89/$149 Costco) and 1000 ft rolls of 16" wide sand paper ($13) to Spode china, or a Citizen watch ($129/$236 Costco), 505 Levi jeans ($11 (in my size 31Wx34L)) and Tobasco Sauce to a stainless steel BBQ grill ($400(bartered down from $599)/ $900 Costco ) to list a few. If it didn't work, the wife didn't like it, too big, or changed my mind, they always refunded my money. But, I am a savy shopper, research big ticket items, know the Costco eBay, craigslist, or garage sale prices, understand when name brand is esential to a quality long lasting item, always ask questions, and am courteous and respectfull to the employees and their mechandise. more

What could possibly be wrong with finding brand new clothing from stores like Kohl's, Sears, Costco or Target for $3.99 a piece? And at the warehouse they sometimes mark down to $1.99, and I've even scored brand new Target merch from their 99 cent bins. You have to be willing to search, but on a good day you can get 2 or 3 full outfits for around $20! This store makes me very happy and fulfills my need for shopping without breaking the bank. more

During a recent visit to CA I wandered into Twice as Nice. It was terrific! I found a pair of Nevado sandals for only $15 (regularly $45) for my son, who is in the Peace Corps. I also found him some flannel sheets from Costco which he really needed. I sure wish there was a Twice as Nice in Phoenix! Thanks for a fun shopping expereince! more

I absolutely love this store! No matter when you shop there you are bound to find something. The stock changes often....I have bought everything from clothes, to garden tools to a hammock.......Great bargains.... more

Here is a warehouse store where you can get great deals on overruns from places like Costco. They also have a warehouse in El Granada where I have purchased luggage, fire pits, ziploc bags and just about anything for low prices. Check it out. more

Tucked away in a tiny strip mall in Half Moon Bay is an outlet for CostCo returns as well as electronics and tools. It's called Twice as Nice (at Half the Price), and it's where you can stock up on canned goods, sodas, baby clothes, underwear, towels, candles, TV sets, DVD players, and God only knows what else. Stock changes daily. more
