Over the years, I have never seen a bad review for this place. Here's why...this place is fabulous. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is visually appeasing and romantic, and the food is wonderful. The last time I ate there, we showed up with a group of 25 and they were able to accommodate us without a problem. Their menu is both classical and imaginative, with many regional Tuscan mainstays as well as inspired interpretations of classical dishes. Their gnocci with tomato-basil pomodoro is sumptuous. The gnocci were light and tender, unlike the chewy, glutinous glue-wads they serve at most Italian restaurants. They have an impressive selection of wines and Italian liquers. Have a shot of limoncello after your meal...you will not be dissappointed. I really recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of Tuscan food. This is also a great restaurant to take a lady if you aim to impress her. The only downside is the location. I used to live right by this place and it is admittedly a bit of a rough neighborhood...don't walk around there late at night.
Pros: Everything is first-rate...not to be missed
Cons: Location...rough neighorhood
