Amazing Dentistry 12/7/2011

I had always heard the horror stories about root canals. I have had cleanings at other dentist offices that were more painful than a root canal at Turtle Cove with Dr. P. He explains things so I can understand them and then procedes to treat at my pace. A truly relaxed experience from when I walked thru the door in severe pain to when I left with a big smile on my face (although I was drooling all over the place:) I recommend Turtle Cove for your next dental appointment! more

Amazing Dentistry 12/6/2011

From cleanings to root canals (yes that's plural) I always have the most relaxed experience at Turtle Cove Dental. I always feel like the most important client, and feel like I'm the only one in the office. Dr. P does such a nice job at explaining the process and even a better job at performing the treatment. Emergency appointments and scheduled appointment, I am always treated with the same excellent customer service. I highly recommend Turtle Cove and Dr. P for your next dental appointment! The Best Dental Care In The Twin Cities Area 12/6/2011

I cannot say enough good things about Turtle Cove Dental's excellent service and staff! From the moment you walk in the door and see the huge turtle tank in the high ceiling, plant filled office you can feel the difference. The entire staff is knowledgeable, experienced and willing to go that extra mile to make sure that you and your family are comfortable and have a good experience. They have fit us in at short notice when we had a dental problem come up, they have cheerfully rearranged appointments many times when life got in the way of our getting there and they have even talked op our insurance company for us when we needed some expert help. I would not hesitate to ask them any question I had and know that they will stick with it until they can fix the problem. Pros: null Cons: null more

A Great Office!! 7/30/2010

I had the great opportunity to work with this fine dental team.\r i work as a temp, and fill in where i am needed. More often than not..Dentists are always in a hurry, never really taking the time to explain treatment to their patients, leaving the patients feeling uneasy, and uneducated reguarding their treatment.\r \r How wonderfull it was to be in an office where the dentist took his time, explaining everything in PLAIN English. I have been in this field a long time..and its a rare thing to find an office so caring,\r and takes great pride in making sure their patients are comfortable, and understand their dental treatment!\r I highly recommend this office!! more

Really nice office but the dentist is a little impatient and rude. I brought my daughter there to have a cavity filled and he was just really rude with her. Comes off a little cocky and condescending. I wouldn't go back. Brought my daughter to Dr. Becicka in Albertville and had a much better experience. more

Talk about an experience that leaves you wondering what other offices are doing. I heard things explained perfectly by the doctor and staff and left with a better understanding of what was going one in mouth. Courteous listeners and a peaceful environment more

  • Our Guiding Principles Where did the name "Turtle Cove Dental" comes from? A friend and I had taken our kids to Mall of America, Underwater World. They have a turtle tank that the kids loved. Later, I saw a web site for marketing that said "don't be the average McDentist with a fish tank." My wife and I were thinking one night of attributes we wanted the office to express, and we started to write down the words: * E - Educating * L - Listening * R - Relationship-Building * T - Teaching * T - Tranquil and Trusting * U - Understanding I looked at the list vertically with the first letters of each word and saw "turtle." I don't know how it happened, but it set off a chain reaction of epiphanies and the name was set.
