I enjoy giving a calming and relaxing massage with some reike for people who like that. When people have pain, such as TMJ, Fibromyalgia, shoulder and neck or disc problems I like to focus on finding the problem and the specific muscles involved.
It is very important to me that my clients let me know what they want and need at any given moment regarding temperature, silence, music, depth of pressure, areas you want worked on or skipped, or anything that is uncomfortable or might make the massage better for you. I work out of my home, so my hours are flexible and I work 7 days a week. I have 2 friendly dogs, a lab and an American Eskamoe. They will be very excited to see you, but quiet down quickly and like to sleep under the massage table during a massage. For those that prefer more of a spa atmosphere, or one without the dogs, I also work at Bellbrook Massage Therapy. The fees there are an extra $5 for the facility, but I can accept Credit Cards at this location. You can call me at the above number to arrange this.
. Massage therapy,Neuro-Muscular Therapy,Reike, Reflexology,and Deep Tissue.
Neuro-Muscular Massage is focused on finding the muscles that are causing the problem and working specifically on them. It is more helpful when a person is having pain than a general massage of the area. Abdominal pain, cervical, low back, fibromyalgia, and TMJ are some examples.
Reike is energy work. It is very relaxing and healing. I don't normally do a whole hour of Reike, but can incorporate it into the massage if you like.
Reflexology is massage of the foot, aimed at pointing out and treating disorders and problems of the body. For example,it can point out a bladder problem, heart problem, thyroid problem, etc that your Doctor can then explore and treat further. Reflexology can also aid in treating the problem.
Deep Tissue Massage simply means that I DO have VERY strong hands and when someone wants very deep work I am happy to do that. Most people prefer a more medium pressure.
