The window on the driver's side of my 1999 Beetle had stopped rolling up and down, and I had a guy come look at it when I had my car in Nashville over the summer. He estimated the price to be $230 for the repair. I am a college student, so I had to take some time to save up the amount of money to fix it. I brought my car back to Athens for fall semester and took it to Hopewell once I had saved up the money. The guy at Hopewell estimated that the price would be $430, and the guy in Nashville must not have not have realized that an entire other part was necessary for repair. Against my better judgment, I allowed Hopewell to go through with fixing my car, under one condition. I brought the car in on a Tuesday, and I was going out of town that weekend, so I needed my car back by Friday.
