As a new business owner, we felt compelled to go to a CPA sometime in February to learn about any new criteria for paying taxes this year (2007). Mr. Tuncap was recommended on a respectable site but he turned out to be a cheat and liar. At first he applauded us for having all of our paper work and receipt highly organized, stating that it would make his job easier. Not only did we have to file an EXTENSION on our taxes, something that I've never done before and felt embarrassed to do. But he kept dodging our calls and making excuses for the delays, all the time assuring us that he would have our taxes done within a few days. This went on past the deadline of April 17. It wasn't until the third week in May! that we filed our taxes, paid an interest fee to the government, and paid Tuncap in full ($400)--but not before a number of emails and missed phone calls. Never again!
Stay away! He'll only keep you running in circle. Oh, in addition, he conveyed no confidence in that he repeatedly asked to see our documents from previous years (for what?!!!). I bet he had no clue. He was not hospitable or kind, didn't bother to explain any process, and procrastinated and was hard to reach. I can go on forever! I definitely don't recommend this CPA. Find another!
