Tuna's Garden Grille

Tunas Raw bar and Grill is unlike any other restaurant in south Florida. Genuine staff, with a sense of obligation when it comes to service. I went with my wife for dinner and was promptly greeted, seated, and treated to a menu of seafood, steaks, pastas, and a variety of appetizers. This place promises to be a great experience now, and even better in weeks to come. I was told it is under new ownership and that it still has the classic Tunas dishes, but was assured that it was dedicated to fresh seafood and truly great service. I am very happy to say that I will be spending alot of time trying out this new menu and all the seafood. Bye the way I was also told that the sushibar part of the restaurant will be complete soon. Last night I went to Tuna""s where I had the worst service in any restaurant in 66 years. We were a party of ten and the waiter was the worst I have ever met. He seemed to feel that the other end of the table was more important than our end such that he told me that he had to take their order first . Things got worse as we received no food for two hours while a table next to us of eight received their food. We finally got our salad, however we had ordered oysters and while someone at the other end of the table received them we never did. My daughter ordered wine and it took three mistakes to get the right one. Just to let you know, I am a retired physician who has traveled world wide since retirement and was never treated that way. I am not sure the waiter spoke much English however complaints to management did'nt help. As to the food I heard it was good from the other end of the table, but when the oysters went only to that end I walked out. Cons: Worst service I have ever received in a restaurant more

First of all, I am a fan of FRESH SEAFOOD - I know when something that comes out of the ocean is not fresh. I arrived at Tuna's Garden Grille for a quiet dinner, recommended by my fiance for their ""fresh"" seafood. My fiance had grouper, I had the haddock. Both items were ""mushy""..soft..almost gelatine-like. My goodness, just speaking of it makes my stomach queasy. Needless to say, these items were frozen for quite a spell. I was not a happy diner. There was no manager on site. We did not get a refund or a choice of alternative dish. I felt ROBBED. I should've known something was wrong when we walked in and we were the only patrons. more

WOW! Finally somewhere in Miami where you are not ignored and the food is above expectations! Tunas is a great place to have a date or enjoy a night out with some friends. There are 2 options for seating inside or at the outside bar tucked in a garden oaisis. The seafood here is unbelievable and the prices are amazing. I've been in the industry for many years therefore my service standards are higher then normal and everytime I have dinned at Tunas I have had a plesant experience. The menu caters to all taste buds with fish, chicken, pasta salads and more. The food comes out in a timley manner and the service is always with a warm smile. Infact the owner has personally taken care of our party and continually remembers our names and faces as we enter. I highly recomend anyone to eat here as I am sure you will enjoy the food as well as the experience. The bar is fully stocked with many options and sitting nestled outside at the bar is a great way to shoot the breeze with friends. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Miami area and was recommended to Tuna's Garden Grille by a friend of mine. When I walked in I knew I was in the right place. My guests and I were greeted warmly by the staff and was seated quickly, our server took our drink orders quickly and without mistake. Everyone in my party ordered differently and by the end of the meal we were just talking about how great the food was. After dinner we decided to look around and was shown the outside bar and dining area by one of the owners. They had live music playing and more of an up-beat crowd around the outside bar. Tunas Garden Grille is an exceptionally well acclaimed restaurant that is filled with great food and quality service. I live in Palm Beach County and I drive all the way down to North Miami Beach just to eat at Tunas. The hour drive is worth it because Tunas Garden Grille has the best seafood in the world. Tunas Garden Grille is a great place to hang out with your friends. This restaurant has an ambience outside that resembles a magical garden. Just imagine eating a scrumptious meal while surrounded by exotic plants that relaxes your body. The soothing sound of water and birds chirping can easily ease your tension and relieve stress from a hard day?s work. Most importantly they have, EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!! I have been a regular at Tuna's since day one. I have been in the Miami boat business for over fifty years, and when I entertain customers and guests, I take them to Tuna's. Nine out ten people that I take there come back again and again. Wow, I feel like I found a needle in a haystack! There's tons of restaurants around the Aventura area, but this one came in highly recommended from a family member who frequents it often. We were visiting from up north over the holidays and wanted QUALITY seafood, ATTENTIVE service, VARIETY in a menu and AMBIANCE. My husband and I were quite pleased with Tuna's because it's all of these and more! Located in an unassuming area, it's like finding a treasure! My husband and I were seeking a reasonably priced seafood restaurant with more of a casual atmosphere. Tuna's was the recommendation. From the outside you would never know how cool this restaurant really is until you enter through the walkway. We ate in the garden area which has this relaxed feeling of the Florida Keys. It was hard to believe we were still in Miami. We ordered stone crab and grouper - both were excellent. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends! Tuna's Seafood is a beautiful restaurant in an unlikely location. I'd eaten at the prior location on Biscayne Blvd but rediscovered them at 178th and West Dixie replacing waterfront dining with lush gardens, spacious dining rooms and an outdoor bar offering live music.
