Stay away from this place. I took my car there because it would not start. They said it was the fuel pump and charged me $550 to replace the fuel pump. They also asked me if I would like to replace the belts on my car and I told them yes. Less than 20 miles later, I was sitting on the side of the interstate because my car died while driving and would not start. I had my car towed back to Tuffys. They told me that my timing belt broke and they could replace it for $988 (why didn't they ask me if I needed it replaced when they replaced the other belts?) I couldn't afford to pay them that much money so I towed my car to a friend’s house. My friend replaced both the timing belt and the balance shaft belt because it was also found broke. The car started several times and ran fine for a little while. And then it died again and would not start. This is the same reason I took it to Tuffys in the first place. My friend still needs to troubleshoot why my car won’t start. Again this is why I took it to Tuffys in the first place and they charged me $550. I am going to guess that the fuel pump was never bad and Tuffys was only guessing at what the problem was. Before I took my car to my friend’s house, I called two other auto repair shops, a well-known auto parts store, and another one of my friends and told them that my car was at Tuffys for repairs. All four of these people told me to take my car to any place other than Tuffys because they are known to perform substandard maintenance. I now believe them. So stay away from this Tuffys service center if you want an honest repair center.
