Tucker Lake 6/13/2011

We just went to Tucker Lake and had a great time. It was on a Monday and it was not packed at all, we have never been there on the weekend so I can't speak of weekend crowds, but we had an awesome time. The lifeguards there were all great and very observant of all the ages of kids and there was plenty to do to keep us busy. Everyone there was so nice. We almost didn't go after reading some of the reviews but we had an awesome experience and will definitely be going back soon. more

The place to be in the summer! 11/12/2010

I have visited Tucker Lake for years and love it! It is always very clean. The water is very clear. Prices are reasonable ($10 for an adult is nothing for a full day of relaxation and enjoyment). There are always lifeguards on duty. The staff is helpful and friendly. I don't have kids, but my niece and nephew absolutely love it and beg to go. It is family oriented. You are allowed to bring your own food, etc., but the food there is pretty good too. We always take food and grill out. more

Don't take your kids here! 7/25/2010

Several people had recommended Tucker Lake as a good place to take our kids. I'm not sure if the recommendations are based on visits in past years or if my friends only went during weekdays before school let out. I definitely do NOT recommend this place. Pros: Nearby to Johnston County Cons: Very crowded, not for small kids (under 8), cash only more

They Stole My Money 7/9/2010

Please do not give these people your money. I went with my family and they had only 1 of 3 beaches open. The beach was packed so I had asked for my money back($51) so I could go somewhere else. We had not unpacked and had been on the property for about 5 mins. The owner refused to refund my money and was theatening me to leave or she would call the police. I guess ""stealing"" my money was more important then how people view her business practices. This is coming from someone who has been here before and had a good time. After this type of treatment I cannot see ever wanting to go back now. Pros: None Anymore Cons: Business Practices more
