I have no problems what so ever with this office. I went in for a invisalign consultation with Dr. Choucair. Everything went great! I have the invisaligns now, go in every month for a new set of trays. These are alot easier than normal braces, no wires or metal in your mouth. I am glad I went in and I will recommend this office to anyone who needs a friendly dentist. I don't know about the other bad reviews on this board, If you read them closely, it just looks like some people don't have anything better to do with their time. 2 of them are from the same day. Hmmmm?? Other lady goes 3 years between teeth cleanings, she probably goes 3 days between brushing her teeth too, no wonder her mouth is so terrible, and she blames the dentist for her bad personal hygiene. What, your going to blame the rain and cold on the weatherman next? Please don't believe everything you read. This is a 5 star office with great doctors and staff!!! more

I had an accident when I was younger, which knocked out one of my 2 upper front teeth. Over the many years I had 3 different dentists who tried to fit a crown as close to natural as they could. I was never completely happy with their results. The color wasn't just right & the upper portion just didn't fit like it should have. It was quite obvious that it was always a crown; not a tooth. I needed some dental work as I'm new to the area, heard great things about Tucker Dentistry & I was pleased to see that both dentists weren't too far out of dental school. I always think that the fresher they're out of school, the more up-to-date they are. I was able to get into an appointment very quickly, another plus. The ladies at the desk seemed happy to see me & made me feel comfortable. I loved the restful decor of the office & the fact that I was in a private room & not in a seat where you can hear the other patients' conversations & treatments. Dr. Choucair is a lovely, young dentist who really took the time to get to know me. She wasn't condescending, just very natural & calm. She made sure that I knew all of my options & explained things in a way that I completely understood. When she proceeded to analyze the proper color & tone of crown I needed, she really took her time. I felt like she wanted to make it perfect - & she absolutely did. She has the best eye for detail of any dentist I have ever been to! I can't say enough great things about my 2 appointments there! It actually was a pleasure. The only criticism would have been for the dental tech. She could have suctioned my mouth more often more

I had the exact opposite experience with Tucker Family Dentistry. I was referred by a friend. I went in for some major dental treatment, and the staff was absolutely professional, courteous, and extremely friendly. Dr. Tucker displayed an extreme amount of professionalism and at the same time, giving out this “personal and friendly” vibe. The time I was in the dental chair just flew by. The prices were very competitive and the atmosphere was very inviting. The staff made you feel like you were at home and took the time to talk to you. I will definitely continue to go there for my dental treatment in the future. Did I mention that I drive from San Antonio to see them? It is a small price to pay for a great experience every time. 5 / 3 / 11 , I had made an appointment for the first time at this place for my daughter who is little & just to have her teeth looked at . When I walked inside , this did not really seem like a kid friendly dentist office . It wasn't colorful or anything cheerful friendly . The receptionists were really rude & acted like they didn't care . Then my daughter went in to see the dentist . They had a tv on for an older teenager while he was getting his teeth cleaned . They did not do that for my daughter to make her feel comfortable at all & It was her first time to the dentist. The next thing I know , A regular dental visit turned into a nightmare FROM HELL !!! They told me ohhhhh your daughter needs 4 fillings done & a crown & she's 8 yrs old ! Then I was in shock :0 They told me to go to the front desk for payment arrangements . When I get to the front desk , they tell me this is what I have to pay $940.00 !!!! And there is no payment plan , you have to pay it all up front & that she will need 3 shots in her mouth :( I was extremely upset . Then I paid for the treatment , the next thing I know is My daughter is screaming in horrible pain , & everytime I charged back there to the room she was in , they were giving her more & more shots in her mouth it was horrible . It was like watching your child get torchured ! They ended up giving her about 30 or more shots in her mouth !!!!! All I heard was her screaming :( Then after drilling on one of her teeth for a whole hour & putting her through all that horror , then the woman dentist comes out & says to me , well we are going to need to pull out her back tooth instead of doing a crown !!!! So she is going to send the male dentist in now , Mr Tucker . I was very angry by this point , 3 hours later , I hear my daughter screaming at the top of her lungs , in severe pain alone in the room with Mr Tucker & the female dentist just left the office . Then Mr Tucker walks out to me with an attitude & know it all attitude , saying never in my whole life had I ever dealt with a kid screaming , that it's no big deaL TO YANK HER BACK TOOTH OUT , & that she should have just dealt with it . Are you kidding me !!!!!!!!!!! Then he acts like my daughter shouldn't have cried , or screamed , after he yanked and pryed her tooth out ! UNDELIEVABLE ! By then I was crying , freaked out , upset , and in shock ! Then I asked him if my daughter should miss school the next day , since she had gone through hell , litterally , & he was all , ohhhhh noooo , she's fine , like she hadn't had anything done to her that was petrifying ! And like he didn't care that she cried , was in pain , & completally numb as hell ! He was horrible with my child , no feelings , no concerns & not friendly . The next day when my daughter could talk again & I asked her how the man dentist was , & she told me he was really mean to her , scared her , & was very rough with her mouth ! I WILL NEVER EVER COME TO THIS TORTURE DENTIST OFFICE AGAIN & I WILL SPREAD THE WORD OUT ! My poor baby girl , it makes me sick that they bleaded me dry of $ , & tortured my daughter & then afterwards acted like , oh no big deal , who cares :( !!!!!!! I am still in shock from all of this & cannot stop thinking about the horrible things my baby went through :( :( :( more

Do not use this dentist. Such a pretty office but not thorough at all. I went to this office three years ago had work done and my teeth cleaned. They cleaned my teeth so quickly I thought my teeth were just clean. I had my teeth cleaned 3 yrs later at another office and I had had black tarter. Black tarter means tarter was sitting in my teeth for over 3 yrs. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth said she had temped at this office before and they didn't have the proper basic equipment to clean teeth and patients she saw that had been going there for a while getting teeth cleaned had dirty teeth. Less than a year after I had a tooth filled a cavity fell out. They wanted me to pay full price to fix it again. I was not happy about it and decided to get it fixed somewhere else. Today on another tooth half my tooth has fallen out next to a filling they had filled. Every cavity he filled is now sensitive to coldness. I want my money back from Tucker Family Dentistry. My once beautiful teeth have been ruined. more

Dr. Tucker was friendly and put me at ease right off. I'm 64 and thought I hated dentists. I went to one only when I had no choice. That was the case when I first went to see Dr. Tucker. He was friendly, and sensing my fear, put me at ease very quickly. I DIDN'T EVEN SEE THE NEEDLE COMING. After the dental work, his staff looked after me as if I was their only patient. Their genuine concern was something I had never experienced before. His other patients seem to feel as I do as I listened to what they said about him. Overall, I like Dr. Tucker and his GREAT staff. Pros: GREAT PERSON, GREAT SUPPORTING STAFF,MOST UPDATED EQUIPTMENT Cons: NONE, that I could find (and I was looking) more
