Loved my waiter! 12/26/2006

Waiter was funny, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food on the menu. This is the best waiter I have ever had. It was my birthday and everything he recommended I order was delicious. Even talked my partner into ordering a veal, cooked medium rare which she would normally never do. Afterwards she said it was the best. Loved the place, would visit again, and definitely would recommend to everyone. Pros: Fabulous atmosphere, comedic waiter, and perfectly seared sirloin Cons: Long wait because it's so popular more

One of my favorite restaurants 11/8/2006

Tucci Benucch is located in the Mall of America. You can find it on the first floor by following the aroma of garlic! The restaurant is decorated in old Italian farmhouse antiques and is very cozy. It does not seem like you are in the mall. The servers are very attentive, your water or wine glass will not go empty! The hardest thing is choosing a menu item. No matter what entre I order I always get the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. They are stuffed with spinach, bread crumbs and parmesean cheese. Pros: atmosphere, great menu Cons: its in the Mall of America more

Tasty 10/18/2006

It's crowded, but then again, it's at Mall of America. I like this place - all the food is good. I've tried a lot of the menu items and you really can't go wrong with experimenting. I've taken to ordering the specials just for that reason. They have a decent wine list, lots of tasty bread and olive oil, and if you still have room - delicious desserts. It gets crowded at nights, I suggest reservations if you're going on a weekend night. Pros: delicious food, easy to reach location, extensive menu Cons: mall crowds more

...mmm, love the chicken 7/21/2006

I have been to this place probably four or five times, and the first time I tried the angel hair marinara, I think, and it was ok. Then the next time i tried the classic lemon chicken, and it was the best chicken dinner I have ever had, it comes baked with a lemon-garlic sauce with fresh lemons and garlic mashed potatos, the chicken is juicy, and be sure to ask for extra lemons, it gives and extra kick. Pros: food, staff Cons: in the Mall of America, dark more

My favorite! 2/2/2006

Tucci Bennuch is definately one of my favorite places to eat in the Twin Cities. It's always packed, so call ahead if you don't like to wait! Has great food, make sure you try the baked spaghetti! Pros: food, good value more

No Bar? 10/24/2004

I recently went there for a work outing involving 30 people on a Thursday night. We decided to meet 30 minutes before our reservation for drinks, however there was no bar to do so! No matter, we were seated right away and were waited on. But a restaraunt without a bar area? I've never seen such a thing and I go out a lot. Food was average, nothing special except for the a salad that was on the menu as ""The Greatest Salad"" or something like that. And it was. Place was packed on a Thurs night at 7:00. Pros: salad more

GRRRR Remodeled 5/3/2003

The food's still exquisite, however the menu as well as the restaraunt it's self has changed. They seem to have raised the prices however to help pay for the remodeling that should not have taken place. They ruined some of the ambiance it looks now like just another restaraunt, not the unique homey charm it used to have. I believe they have raised their prices also along with revamping their menu to pay for the unnessasary remodeling. Don't get me wrong the calamri is to die for especially with the garlic sauce and you have not tasted tiramisu until you have had it here ( that is if you still have room for it) You no longer have to wait nearby any longer they have a ""pager"" that lets you know when you table is ready. Plus they participate in the kids eat free promotion the mall offers on Tuesdays. Pros: Calamri, Tiramisu, Service Cons: remodeled look, shrinking portions more

Classic Italian, Antipasti & Wine

Owner Message
  • A cozy little getaway from the Mall of America's noise and bustle, Tucci Benucch feels like a Tuscan countryside restaurant. It's the perfect place to sit back and take it easy over a glass or two of vino and the delicious simple creations that lie at the soul of Italian cuisine.

Antipasti, wonderful pizzas with thin, crisp, honey-dough crusts and more than a dozen pasta specialties are paired with 20 wines by the glass and more than double that amount by the bottle. Hand made gnocchi as well as chicken, beef and fish-based main courses round out the menu, making this an ideal dinner spot.
