The Scene
Tuacahn is the Mayan word for "Canyon of the Gods," and this natural amphitheater is indeed divine. Actors, singers and dancers perform a season's worth of shows in the shadow of spectacular red rock cliffs. This dramatic backdrop adds a touch of romance to the well-worn musicals performed every summer.
The Season
Most of the action takes place during summer, with three popular musicals running in repertory. In addition to the summer season, there is a spring and autumn concert series. Past guest performers have included the Osmond Brothers and Diamond Rio.
Kid Friendly
Tuacahn is one of Utah's best theaters for families. Children will appreciate open air as opposed to the stuffy confines of an indoor theater. All shows and concerts are appropriate for young audiences.
