A native of Napa Valley, CA, Kyle Thornhill trained under great chefs such as Cindy Paulson (chef and cookbook author) at Mustards Grill, Thomas Keller at the French Laundry, and chef Bob Turley at the popular Yountville Grill. Kyle was named Executive Chef for Platt Productions a role in which expanded to events with Robert Mondavi Winery, Sutter Home. Kyle also co-founded and co-operated a kid’s cooking school in Napa Valley. Most recently Kyle held the position of Executive Chef for Mills College and managed catering for the Oakland Raiders NFL team. In the fall of 2017 Kyle moved to the Pacific NW to be inspired by the bounty that surrounds us in the Columbia valley, thus Professional Food Services was established by owners Kyle and Becky Thornhill in 2018 to provide a higher level of food services and education to the Tri-Cities community. We are a full-service catering company providing catering for large and small events, lunch meetings, breakfast service including made-to-order omelette bars, private chef, and food consulting.
