True Value Of Palm Bay

The Animal Hospital of Palm Bay is the best, most passionate animal hospital I have ever taken my dog to. \r I have such an incredible amount of respect for the hospital and for our dog's doctor, Dr. Jason Frydenlund.\r My 10 year old golden retriever, Sierra, had to have a surgery. Dr. Frydenlund stayed after hours on a Saturday to perform it. Afterwards, he explained everything in detail to us about how to care for her and what to expect from her. He called everyday to check on her and was available for us to call at anytime - he even talked to us on Thanksgiving. He was always very polite and professional, and we could tell he genuinely cared for Sierra!\r Sierra ended up having to be euthanized a week later due to pre-existing health conditions unrelated to her surgery. Dr Frydenlund helped us understand that we had done everything we could for her and that it was not our fault. We were given time to say goodbye without feeling uncomfortable or rushed at all. Loved the dr. Loved the job he did. Thought the prices were reseaonable compared to the area. However when I picked up my dog after his surgery and the front desk girl called my husband a liar over a disagreement in price. That put a bad taste in my mouth. When she yelled at me for being a bad owner for not wanting to pay them for a safety cone (they were three times as much as the store I bought it at) and told me it would be my own fault when my dog needed surgery for my neglect. That was the end of it for me. It's a shame since I liked the dr., but refuse to be treated poorly by someone who's salary I pay! more
