We selected True Love Wedding Service located at Flushing Mall, Queens NY. Our experience was so horrible I just want to warn every other couple that plans on using them.
I understand a lot of the other reviewers are giving TL high scores but please keep in mind that I have gone through the whole process with them from beginning to end and not just the beginning selection before the wedding day.
Our wedding day was in Nov. 2010. Before the actual wedding the customer service was exceptional. Angela was our first consultant but then the manager, Joanne took over. The wedding day itself was a disaster, poorly organize and the photographer wasn't as good as the images we saw on they computers. Once you paid the full amount, which is require before you pick up the photo CD, the excellent service stops.
Here is the breakdown of what happen:
MAIN PHOTOGRAPHER Mr. CHAO: pleasant man but not creative at all, takes lots of photo shots but majority of the images are not usable for our album in the CD because they were so random, unnatural and parts of the face were blurry. Does not know how to give directions. All he does is ask you to act natural and smile. Takes a lot of smoking break and miss a lot of our reception which was quite disappointing.
Wedding Consultant Mrs. JOANNE: Nice but hardly around when we needed her. Her schedule is never clear and she hires a lot of part-time college kids to work as consultants and they never has a clue what is going on. She has made appointments with us which she couldn't keep. All she cares about is the payments and she will push for it.
Wedding Consultant Mrs. ANGELA: Nicer than Joanne but can't make any big decision without Joanne's okay. Once Joanne took over our account she always tells us to confirm with Joanne even though we could never get in touch with Joanne.
Makeup artist COCO: My wedding day make-up was not the same as the test trial. END RESULT: fake eyelashes was uneven and started to come off within 2 hrs (cheap glue), Dry cakey complexion, pale sickly look, WORST thing my eyebrows are light by nature and she darken them with a brow pencil and it was UNEVEN and one was shorter then the other. She tired to cover up her mistake by giving me side swept bangs.
The DVD that we received had a lot of images that were not all Photoshop. Red-eyes, dark dark circle and blemishes for some of my family and friend photos. My husband had a pimple on the day of our wedding and it was apparent in all photos. It is clear that someone just randomly grab a bunch of the photos that consist mostly of scenery and objects rather than people and put it into the CD.
The Albums and Enlarge Wedding Photos took about 7 months to get. Granted that we made a few request but that was only because they took mostly non-people photos to put the album together to save time on photoshopping and the ones with people didn't have any touch ups at all.
To get to the point: We should have went with PRINCESS WEDDING STUDIO which is also located in Flushing. There price was only $200 more but I didn't try to negotiate with them so I bet it could have been the same price as TL.
Save yourself the headache and don't waste your time or money at TL.
