Truck Accessory Center

I've been dealing with these folks for a dozen or so years now, and while some of the faces have changed over the years, I've always found one thing that seems to separate smaller businesses from the big corporate stores, and that's service after the sale. This store is approx 45 minutes from my home, but I've always found their prices to be competitive and they have always been there when I need service, so I plan to keep coming back. As a side note, they have the largest selection of Carhartt clothing I have ever seen! In fairness to this store, I never give five stars, because I feel there is always room for improvement. more

I've also experienced poor customer service and bad attitudes at the truck accessory center. I've lived in Moyock for 10 years now and have noticed that the same people have worked at the local businesses the entire time. I've heard that most of the businesses employ friends and family so I'm sure the owners aren't real big on firing their own. When you live in a small town you expect a small town attitude but in Moyock you get the ""I'm the only game in town"" attitude. My wife and I now do most of our shopping across the boarder in Chesapeake. I'm glad hillcrest is growing as fast as it is. Soon they won't be the only game in town and we can run them out of business. more

You've probably heard the phrase, If they don't have it you don't need it, well this is one such place. My experience at this store has been GREAT, my husband refers to this place as his toy store. It's nice to find a store that still has knowledgable personnel to help when purchasing something I know nothing about, I've made several purchases from them. In response to comments made by sandy9195, I shop online too, but not for things that I may need help with or service for. Wanting to return something you ordered simply because you found it cheaper elseware after the fact is pretty bold, you should be thanking them for taking it back at all, I don't know that I would have... We ordered a mounting kit for some runinig boards and in the interim found them cheaper online. When my husband told the gentleman that I had found them cheaper online, he replied that was fine and he would return the kit. Upon walking out of the store, he then said that my husband should tell me to order all my stuff online from now on. That was quite rude. I will never use this store more
