I am a custom home builder and have used Western Insulation for years. I am very pleased with their staff and their service. Many times I would call late in the afternoon needing to be put on the schedule for the next day and they were able to accomodate me every time. I have also used them for the services in the PG&E Energy Partners program for many of my rental properties. Although it is a different division of the company, I still received the same great service I was accustomed to in their New Construction department. I would definitely recommend them. more

Western Insulation is contracted thru P.G.& E. to install insulation in your home. They came to my home and did an inspection of the attic and noted that I had R-7 and they will bring it up to R-30 and that the bad insulation needed to be removed, I then asked if I needed to remove the insulation, they said NO it is our job, and before we blow in new insulation we will remove the old. I called and confirmed this with numerous staff and it was to be true. Many dates were scheduled and they did not show, with many excuses, ie. not in area that day, not a full crew, etc. Today they came out after trying to cancel again, and said they do not remove insulation, I called the office and asked to talk to staff available and was told that they do not do removal, one of their workers climbed into my attic and said we can't do the job today we will have to be back, I asked to see their paperwork and it stated that the old insulation will be removed by them before new insulation is to be blown in. more
