My serviceman for years was Rick and I doubted anyone could ever come close to him and felt if I ever lost him I would quit Trugreen! Since he has had health issues and no longer has my route, ( and no, I didn't quit) I finally have someone who might even surpass him!!! I am so very fortunate now to have Eric Scharf. I look forward to seeing him, he is pleasant, polite, and very helpful. When we talk about my shrubs and trees ( I don't have any lawn) he always has great tips and ideas that he freely passes on.. so Don't EVER take Eric away from me or I will quit.....honestly......really...................I mean it this time! Trugreen services the shrubry at our house and has done so for years. We have never had any infestation problems and our perimeter is complete foliage. more

We just signed up and are super unhappy with them. They came out once for our ""free"" service and just charged us anyway, then later denied that they ever said it would be ""free"". We were so appalled and really wished that we had listened to the reviews from other TruGreen areas becuase there are so many dissatisfied customers. Save yourselves, don't do it! Cons: Terrible company, no consistency in service, rude customer service reps. more

I read all these awful reviews about TruGreen from other areas, about how they will say anything to get your info. and credit card number but once you're in their system, they just keep charging you ""their"" prices, no matter what your agreements were. I also read how people try to cancel, but TruGreen keeps sending out service technicians to maintenance the yard and then charging for it, regardless. I read all these things and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. OKAY, people, BELIEVE all the reviews. These people are nuts!! They were so poorly organized (the office) and didn't communicate anything with each other. Then we got charged for a service that was supposed to be free. Now they're saying they never offered the ""first service free"". I was so astounded to realize I was caught up in the same bait-and-switch problem the other reviewers had talked about. BEWARE of these people. Don't give them your credit card info. Seriously, if you don't want to believe just me, look it up elsewhere. TruGreen has even gone through legal actions about their shady business practice! Pros: None at all Cons: Unorganized, don't live up to their promises, charge your credit card ""their"" prices more
