I am VERY fair-skinned and cannot get a tan any way other than a ""fake"" tan. I have been getting airbrush tans from Cindy for about a year now. She does an excellent job! I get compliments about how natural my tan looks. If you are looking for somewhere to get an airbrush tan I would highly recommend Cindy at Tropical Minnesota! more

BEST MASSAGES I have ever experienced 11/10/2008

I found the coupon for a new customer online and knowing how much I love massages thought I would try it (only $45.00 what could I lose). My massage was with Amber and she is fantastic. And the fact that the massage was a full 60+ minutes on the table and the 'interview' part was outside of that made it even better. I average a massage a month and those extra 10 minutes on the table make a huge difference. I have found my new home for massages. Next I am going to try the tanning - heard great comments on that also while I was there. Pros: best massages, great prices, friendly,they take walk-ins, loved the whole experience more

Best Tanning and Spa services 10/24/2007

Tropical Minnesota is the best tanning and day spa ever! It is such a clean and homey environment. The staff is so friendly and will cater to your needs. The tanning beds are great and you can see the results in a couple of days. Along with tanning there are excellent spa services offered. I have tried everything from tanning to body waxing to airbrush tanning to facials and massages. Each of the services offered there are great. Each staff member is unique and has been trained thoroughly. They are also very friendly and very professional. They make you feel comfortable and at home no matter what service you are receiving. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's an all in one beauty place...you can do everything there. I highly recommend Tropical Minnesota for all your tanning or body care needs! You won't regret it! And don't forget you'll be tan, hairless, de-stressed, and beautiful! more

smiling faces everywhere 1/29/2007

i love all of the people that work there. they all are smiling and happy to see me. they offer waxings and massages. when i needed my eyebrows waxed they were able to get me in the same day. the esti was very nice and comforting. i recomend anyone needing a wax call there and see what great service you get with not a lot of money. more

My wife and I have tried a few different spas with mixed results. Then we tried Tropical Minnesota. Roger, Cindy and their staff are very friendly and accomodating. They are extremely knowledgeable about the many services and products they offer. We have been a client with them for about a year and are very satisfied. ( made some new friends too ) Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed. Pros: CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, ATMOSPHERE Cons: CAN'T THINK OF ONE more

Tropical Minnesota is great the people that own the shop are down to earth and the most friendly. I tan often and have gone to many different salons and this is now my place of choice - unless I move. The feeling you get when you walk in is one of comfort - relaxed - like you belong. There is a separate area for massage, facials, waxing that is quiet and the therapists work wonders. Pros: price, friendliness, cleanliness more
