Great Place to Go! 4/27/2011

I called them a few months back because of a botched hair cut I received from Fantastic Sam's. It was late at night and they were very gracious and got me in immediatly. I was so happy with the professional treatment from the minute I called to the minute I left. Nikki was my stylist and she is awesome! As a result I will not go anywhere else. Nikki to a long time to fix the really bad hair cut. And it is the cut I have always wanted. My daughter also went here because of a botched haircut from the same place that I went. Big mistake for both of us. And again a stylist here fixed her hair and she was very happy. I would recommend Tropical Looks to anyone. I have also had my nails done here and they are fantastic also! more

Best servise I could find! 9/29/2010

I travel a lot, and let me tell you I wish I could bring Tropical Looks where ever I went. I cannot find the same quality servise and satisfaction else where. I always come here for a brizilian wax. This is the only place that has done it fast and easy! Where ever state I went to and try to find a good waxing place I could never find one. It was always slow extreamly painful and expensive. Tropical looks price fits in my budget perfectly, so I never feel at a loss. The owner is extreamly nice and of all the years I been returning to tropical looks I never had a problem with her. Thats why when ever I am back in my home town I always return to tropical looks for my waxing or tanning needs. more

Great $ervice$ 3/9/2010

From my experience with this salon this is what I got from it. The interior decorations, are tropical (hence the name) but its done in a way that resembles a little girls birthday party. The place felt dirty, I cant point out exactly what made it dirty, but it definately wasnt polished! Some employees including the woman who seemed to be the owner, can be extremely unprofessional, in the way they dress, speak, and present themselves.Save the gossip for your off time, or at least while your in the back, it makes customers feel uncomfertable. As far as the services go. The quaity of the work I received was excellent, but unfortunately its a but over-priced for this economy! more

Terrible 12/21/2008

I would not recommend this for someone getting a perm. I haven't gotten a perm in 10 yrs. I spend the past 3 months buying different hair style magazines, until I found the one picture that looked like the type of body wave I wanted. I brought that picture with me and showed it to the stylist. Because I have long hair, after $300.00 later, what I got was a spiral perm not a body wave. When I asked her about the rods, she said that long hair people get those rods. She didn't tell me it was for spiral perm. I was very disappointed because I wanted a body wave. I end up going to top shots salon for a deep condition, and will have them re-perm my hair for a body wave. The person that helped me seemed new also, because it took her a very very long time to do this, and she had to keep asking advice from the other stylists..My hair is so curly and not wavy...I'm a college student with a mortage to pay..not happy about the $300.00 that this costed me for a type of perm I didn't request. more

Tropical looks day spa located in the old navy shopping center in vacaville. This spa is more like one step up from a nail salon. They do offer a variety of services, but are just average. more
