Great caribbean spot 2/28/2009

On moreland ave. Directly off I -20 across from shell. Quaint little spot with outsideseating. I will go back again and again. Good prices. The chicken was great with not that much spices, but they will give you some to get your own taste depth. People seemed to enjoy and they are very nice and helpful. Try this place out if you are ever in the area. Pros: Real Caribbean food. Have two sizes large and small. And fish. Cons: Area is under redevelopment more

great tail...........ox that is 8/9/2007

I am a regular since they opened and an oxtail virgin until they turned me on. The tails rock, went to Bacchannalia for a $100 dinner and all i could think about was I would rather be eating Tropicals oxtails. The complex flavorful sauce is what makes it, for my money it is better that fillet mignon. Goat curry is very good but i dont go for the jerk-chicken. The brown beef stew looks good to. Just pray they have the ac on cause it can get hot. Very friendly mexican-jamaican husband wife own the place. As usual the best places are the hole in the wall places, i am an expert at the hole in the walls and this one is one of the best. Pros: foooooooood that sticks to yer ribs, not foo foo Cons: hot more
