I can't even tell this story without getting upset. \r

I contacted Tropiano in April 2006 and began e-mailing back and forth with Joseph Tropiano regarding using their trolley as transportation for my bridal party on September 15th, 2007. He was very nice and sent me photos and a contract and we set it all up. May 2007 comes around and I called to confirm everything. The women who answered the phone told me that I am good to go and I even confirmed that they got my map and directions of the route we would need them for that day. I confirmed that I was paid in full.\r

September 10th, 2007 I made one final phone call to confirm. This time there was a different tone. The girl who had just taken over the bookkeeping proceeded to tell me that I am on their calender but that there was no signed contract and no payment made. When I asked to speak directly to Joseph Tropiano I was told that he no longer worked for the company. At that point it was obvious that the place had fallen apart but because my wedding was only 5 days away I had to stick with it. She faxed me the contract. I made the payment (again). She confirmed my date/time and directions.\r

September 15th, 2007, 2:00pm (the time the trolley was supposed to pick us up). No show. 2:30 a phone call was made to Tropiano inquiring about when they would be arriving to pick up my wedding party. They responded, ""That job was subcontracted out. I guess they are not coming. It happens sometimes, we are so sorry!"" We all hopped in our cars and drove from place to place in our gowns and were late for pictures and to the ceremony. They did refund my money though... Well, the money from the 2nd payment.\r

I must not be the only person who they have scammed because when I filed with the B B B they had open cases pending against them.
