Triumphant Alterations

I needed my suit-coat cuffs hemmed 3/4 of an inch. Simple, right. I gave the merchant my jacket on a SATURDAY & she said it would be ready on the following WEDNESDAY. The business is supposed to open at 10:00 AM so I arrive on WEDNESDAY at 10:27 AM. To my surprise, the business wasn't even opened yet. As I was about to drive off, she pulls up with no sense of urgency & unapologetic. As I enter the business, she asks if I was there to pick up my jacket. (No I came for brunch!) She then states that the jacket wasn't ready yet & to give her an hour. A little after noon, I go to pick up my jacket and she just hands me my jacket & walks off. The hems were uneven; not ironed-out; the inner lining was missed in some stitches; the buttons that were reset were off- center, twisted & the thread was all jumbled up in the button eyelet. A 1st semester Home Economics highschool student could have done better. Slack service and very unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. It's not worth the time. She obviously has no seamtress skills nor business sense; HORRIBLE!! more

I was told to pick up my altered dress on March 31st. When I got there the lady told me she was still working on it. I went to it on the rack and saw that it hadn't even been touched. She told me to come back 2 days later. That's tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I'll never go back. If my dress isn't altered tomorrow, I'm taking it with me regardless. I will not be leaving it there. Two words: Ignorant. Apathetic. more

I have gone here twice and each time my garmets were not ready at the promised time. For my second set of garments, I had to come back THREE times before they were ready. The last time, I was accused of not paying, when I already had, and when I told her that she has lost a customer she said, I don't care, you're only 22 dollars worth. I have never been so mistreated.
