Excellent Experience!! \r Trina Marie's Florist decorated and arranged all my flowers and hall for my wedding in July '09. What a great time we had with her and her family as we planned and they helped us a great deal with ideas. With them working for you, you know your event is going to be great!!! I am now pregnant and hoping Trina will decorate for my baby shower! Trina and her family made everything effortless for me and my now ""husband"". Hmm, after reading the comment dated April 22, 2008, I think we all have an idea of who is writing this. First of all, before posting lie's on the internet, you should get your story straight. You never shopped at Trina's, you own a flower shop in a town 10 miles away from New Lothrop. \r You might want to check out Trina's past before praising her and bashing the other flower shops.\r You should be ashamed more

I agree with the last comment, obviously ""mustang619"" is doing some poor advertising! Let's see..hmm what flower shop is still doing great business? NOT TRINA MARIES! Thats because of their rude and terrible service. I'm happy to see that the better shop survived, I'll continue to shop there. more

I happened to attend a funeral memorial service on friday. When I walked in I noticed lots of plants and flowers in the front of the funeral home. As I walked to the front of the service to pay my respects, I was absolutely shocked at some of the floral arrangments I seen. Some of them looked like they had been thrown together in a hurry without any care, I took a look on that back of a few cards and noticed it read ""Trina Maries Florist"" I honestly thought it was a joke that a ""florist"" could do such an awful job, especially for a memorial service. I would not recommend Trina Maries for any of my floral needs. I was very disappointed in the work I seen. Cons: poor floral quality more

Let's be honest. The last review sounded more like a personal advertisement rather than a review. I will give you a real review of Trina Marie. Any business that moves into a small town with the direct intent of running another business out serves no good to the community. Lets just say that Trina Maries was a place where you could go and get quality flowers with friendly service, than I would have no problem with recommending someone to shop there, but it's not. The help may seem nice, but we all know fake when encounter it. If you really want true quality and outstanding service look around town or right in your own backyard. Pros: coffee shop more

\r I feel this comment was very uncalled for. I shopped at Trina Marie's Florist right up until the time she closed the New Lothrop location due to health reasons and the need for extensive surgery. Trina never had a bad thing to say about Walker Flowers and was originally going to buy them out in order to reopen in New Lothrop (she had been there in years past )Walker Flowers was for sale almost from the day they opened for business. Trina refused to purchase their inventory after they wanted a five figure amount for a phone line that was suppose to stay with a Montrose florist they sold their shop to, less than a year into the business. When Walkers got greedy and jacked up the selling price of the inventory and wanted Trina to assume the phone number from Montrose she said no because she felt it to be unethical. Even though she did not purchase Walker flowers she never had a bad thing to say about them and refused to bad talk them to customers. As a matter of fact up until the day she had her surgery and closed her doors she had the idea in the back of her head that perhaps someday Walkers and Trina Maries could work together. Through out her time there she often sent people down to Walkers when she did not have what they were looking for. Her saying was’ keep them in town” and never assume what people think or what they are about because things are not always what they seem Trina has a very religious back ground and always hopes for the best for everyone and tries to see the best in everyone. Trina never once had a nasty thing to say about Walkers Flowers! Please, if you learn nothing else from this comment....take Trina's favorite sayings away from it.....Things are not always what they seem, and None of us are going to live forever are we proud of the life we have lived and can we face GOD tomorrow if we are called home\r \r \r \r Pros: Family Owned and Operated, long hours and willing to stay for you if needed more
