90 Minute Elemental Massage 1/22/2012

I was given a Groupon to receive the 90 minute elemental massage. I was skeptical as I am particular about receiving massages. I enjoy deep tissue massages as I work out everyday lifting weights or running, I coach tumbling, am a personal trainer, and fourth grade teacher. I have yet to find someone who can really provide a deep tissue massage that is beneficial with truly strong pressure. Daniel was my therapist...AMAZING! I was surprised by her strength, knowledge, and ability to remove much of the lactic acid knots in my back and neck. I would go to her again and again! Well worth the price and a great addition to every healthy lifestyle! more

Ok not Great 1/19/2012

I purchased a Groupon for a massage, and was underwhelmed to say the least. While my massage was okay, the rest of my experience was not so great. It felt very awkward walking into the house which is the salon. The front desk is all the way in the back of the salon and you come in wondering where to head. The bathroom was dirty and the music was playing too loud (or there wasnt enough insulation) in the main area. During my massage I couldnt relax and could hardly hear the relaxing music playing in the massage room because I could hear the music pumping through the rest of the salon. Overall I was underwhelmed and will not recommend or return to Tridosha. more

Schedule months in advance 1/17/2012

Beware. If you have a Groupon, plan on scheduling months in advance! Their first available Groupon massage slot would be 7 weeks away! If you pay cash, they admit you can get in a lot earlier. I haven't had a massage there yet, so I would rather not have put a star rating. Just thought others might want to know to plan ahead for a booking. more

Very relaxing 1/14/2012

Very good massage... the hot water spa for my feet was wonderful on the cold winter night. Then the entire massage was so very relaxing. Good soft music. My ONLY hiccup... was .. the additional noise I heard... washer was off balance so it started to thud, then either the washer or dryer started a high pitch squeaking noise, which lasted 20-30 minutes. And the music out in the main area was wonderful but didn't compliment the birds and violin music I was listening to during the massage. Since I was the last appt of the day, perhaps none of these noises would be heard earlier. Overfall the massage was a definite 5 but the other sounds were very distracting to me, bringing my rating down to a 3.5 or 4... more

I have been to see Shannon twice. She is awesome and I will return soon. Had a little trouble finding the new location but when i arrived I was welcomed and the new place is cozy and inviting. Love the fireplace and relaxing atmosphere. more

Great Facial 1/1/2012

What a GREAT facial even with the extractions :) I've had many facials in the past and Shannon provided one of the best I have ever had and she has created such a soothing, relaxing ambiance, with a foot soak, candles and the gentle sound of ocean waves. I WILL be back. Thank you Shannon! more

The deep-tissue massage was great and Danielle was a great therapist. The only thing I would recommend is having the massage rooms a little bit warmer, it was a little bit chilly. more

Perfect Facial 12/10/2011

Every time I have been to Tridisha it has been a great experience.The big name salons cannot compete. The facial starts with a warm foot soak in front of a fire. Then the facial is customized to fit your individual needs.The service and experience can't be beat. This is a must for a person in Lee's Summit wanting to be pampered. more
