I arrived to pick up a car from this company And had nothing but grief. The guy at the counter was doing what ever he could to get out of my quouted price. Problem with insurance (which there was not any problem, I had full coverage) they said that my insurance company had to verify. I said what about my amex? They said not good enough. I was. Offered the choice of taking their insurance to avoid the problem! At almost 45.00 per day more!! Then he pointed to a car in the lot and told me it was not what I needed, I should take the 300 for 35 more per day. As this was not bad enough I hear some guy screaming through a phone about how lousy they are, I thought it was a customer with a complaint (wonder why) I ask the counter guy what's that all about, he states ""That's Andrew the regional manager. Says its his weekly dose of beating up his boss. I told the guy to stop the transaction and told him to get a new company to work for. I went to avis at the airport and even though that took 45 minutes out of my morning, I was glad I did not do business with this company from the dark ages!!
