Triangle Primary Care Assoc

I have followed Dr. Bruce for extemely long time. Before he even moved to his practice in Wake Forest. I go almost 45 minutes to an hour to see him. When I had to go for weekly blood draws I would still travel the distance to his office. His bedside manners are impeccable. The only complaint that I could ever say in regards to the professionalism or lack thereof, is his choice sometimes in his receptionist. But I and so should his other patients feel comfortable enough with him to voice thier opinion. He has had some real characters that represent him at the front desk. Rude, arrogant and other words that I said to him when they acted that way. Since then she has gone, and for the wait to see him, its worth it. He never rushes through his exams, and EVERYBODY has bad days, him being a doctor doesn't eliminated his human side. I hope just remembers that his front desk could make or break his practice. more

HORRIBLE!! I will never go here again....I have been a patient here for a little over 2 years and today was refused service simply because I forgot my insurance card! My insurance info has not changed and they had all the info on file when I phoned about a bill 3 days ago! I took time off from work to be seen and to be refused is wrong and UNPROFESSIONAL! Not to mention ,the office manager and receptionist were both COLD,RUDE, and ARROGANT!I think the doctors at this practice should be more careful with who they let represent them in the front office-i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy... more

I went there for my first appointment and will never go back. The waiting area was nice and clean. The receptionists are rude and unfriendly. The nurse was very nice but very personal. Next thing I know.,I hear a cane coming down the hallway and then an old lady with dark hair slowly comes in. (Don't get me wrong,I love the elderly) She sat down right next to me and acted like she'd known me for years. Some people may like that but to me it was uncomfortable. She put me on some medicine without explaining anything about it etc. (which is what most doctors do these days). Then tried to force me to go on birth control and kept pestering me. This got me very frustrated. Then she left for quite some time, kept peeking in the door to see if I was finished with a paper test, which i found disturbing. Then she told me to go see the lab lady... I sat down and waited for the lab specialist standing 2-3 feet away from me blabbing on the phone and playing some rap music.Once she finally got off she was looking up some stuff in a book, which she shouldn't have to look up and take forever to read, if she has that job she should KNOW this stuff. It took her about 15-20 minutes to take my blod after she had been standing right in front of me.Then she took my blod out of one arm, that vein blew. She didn't do it in the right place. So she went to the next arm asking me to hold some tubes and letting the needle hang out of my arm (disgusting!) I've gotten my blod drawn many times and not ONCE have I EVER had to get it done twice. Both were incredibly bruised for at least a week.When I left (finally) the receptionist informed me that their computers were done so I should call back another day and reschedule.. very inconvient. I received a letter in the mail saying that I had abnormal bloo.dwork. No option was checked so I called and asked the lab and they said to ask the nurse. 3 days,no call back.They HARDLY answer the phone.Call me particular,but just go there and you'll see. more
