I made a telephone call at approximatlely 7:30 to this location to determine the co-pay amount that I would be charged for visiting the facility. I was told that I had to physically be at the location and the information be put into the system to obtain that information. I also wanted to verify that the office was open until 10:00 PM. I was informed that, despite what the lit up sign out front and the website say, this location was only open until 8:00. Since it was 7:30 at the time, I asked if I made it to the location by 8:00, would it still be possible for my wife to be seen. The answer that I received was ""yes"" as long as I was there by 8:00.\r

My wife (the patient) and I hurried up to get out of the door to be seen by a doctor. We arrived at the Cold Spring branch at approximately 7:45. We pulled around to the back door and were welcomed by a locked door and the lights turned out in the waiting room. After standing at the locked door for a few minutes attempting to get the attention of the ladies behind the desk, I looked at my cell phone and verified that it was in fact 7:50. There were at least 2 women at the front desk (and maybe 3). They saw that we were outside and were giggling behind the desk. They looked up several times and made eye contact but did not come to the door. I called the location while standing by the locked door and looking at the lady at the desk - no answer. My next step was to knock on the window. After several rounds of knocking on the window a lady from behind the desk (caucasian, dark hair, 50's) came to the door. I asked her why the door was locked since it wasn't 8:00 yet. She explained that they were closed. I asked why I had been told to bring my ill wife to this location 20 minutes ago and why they couldn't see her. She said ""stop yelling at me"" and shut the door in my face. Admittedly, my hands were raised in the air as to ask ""what's going on here"" and my voice was above a talking tone. I was not, however, screaming or being nasty in any way. \r

I knocked on the window again and was greeted by a blonde-haired lady with glasses in her 20's or 30's. She said that she was the person that I had spoken to and that she was sorry but they were closed. I asked why she had told me to come out 20 minutes ago with my ill wife if they were closing early. She stated that the doctor had left early and she did not know he/she was going to leave early. She was apologetic and sincere but stated that there wasn't a doctor onsite. She couldn't answer why she would allow the doctor to leave early when she had just advised me to bring my ill wife to this location. I was not advised, in any way, how I could have my wife treated that evening by either of the women to which I spoke. \r

In summation, this was the most unprofessional experience that I have ever encountered in the medical field. Your website describes the mission to ""provide state of the art medical services t0 those who need it in an affordable, friendly, convenient, timely, way."" I did not find any of these attributes in my experience at the Cold Spring Branch. \r

After leaving this location we looked up a different location online and found that there was a branch in Oakley. We visited that branch and had a fine experience.\r
