Unable to put zero stars-I made the choice to take my dog Brock to American Animal care because it was the one place that I could afford and in the end, I had to put my Brock to rest on Sat Nov 26, 2011. I brought Brock into American Animal care on Wed Nov 23th the first vet was trusting with his words, so I allowed him to take care of Brock. However, I had no idea my best friend was going to be neglected and miss treated. I only received one call back from the first vet once. I was the one having to call for updates. I was told I would have the test results the next day and the next day turned into 3 days. In addition every time, I called they would put me on a long hold and pass me on to a technician who knew noting. There was one evening a vet called l me back on Thanksgiving, but he didn't know much. I felt in my heart Brock was NOT being cared for. The night time vet sent Brock home and said they would call me the next morning with the test results. In addition, I was in shocked and couldn't believe my ears when the vet walked started the conversation off with he didn't know how Brock leg was injured under their care. I told him I heard someone in the back yelling at Brock and when they brought him to me and he was walking on only three legs I told him when I brought Brock in he was walking with no problems he tried to blame on Brock's illness. At one point, he was asking my son medical questions and my son response I don't know I am not a doctor and to add pain to the injury the vet was heartless when he said prepare for the worse and hope the best without even having the test results back. When I was checking out I had paid another charge and did not receive instructions on how to care for Brock upon leaving the hospital, but they make sure they were paid I paid $1006.54 dollars and they hurt my baby and caused him more pain.. When I got home Brock hopped to the his water dish he was so thirsty, I then opened the can of wet food I brought there and he was starving. The next morning on Saturday, I started calling at 7:00am for Brock's test results finally at 1:30 pm received a call back, I was informed that it was either had a mass of some sort or a ruptured organ either way it was bad. I explained to the male vet on the phone that I had heard my dog being yelled at and he came out with an injured leg. The vet then told me that is aggressive technician that is loud and rubs him wrong. Being that I no longer trusted this place I took him to Ace Animal Hospital - Fremont, CA where they had to pull teeth to get any information from American Animal care. The vet was at least able to get the fluid test results. I called them yesterday Nov 28th and girl said she couldn
