After moving to Lake Oswego I had been looking for a local salon. Trent Edward Salon was recommended by a friend and I went to check it out. Trent and his team is very knowledgeable and able to help with anything your hair might need. I went to see him to fix my attempt at home-coloring my hair that had been dry and frizzy from years of coloring in salons. When I was done with my home treatment, I had silky hair, but I also had horizontal stripes. Not the look I was going for! I needed a professional to help fix it. Trent was not only able to make my hair beautiful again, he also uses very gentle hair color that does not require ammonia and is not drying to the hair. So now not only do I get consistent, good color, but also silky, smooth hair. I am very, very happy and can highly recommend his team and salon. Plus you get great coffee, fun conversations and a beautiful view of Mt. Hood. \r more

What a great salon - and what a wonderful stylist! Trent has been doing my hair for the past year and half and I could not be happier with the results. He is - the very best colorist in the Portland/Lake Oswego area - without a doubt. He takes time with the cut as well as the color and I always feel pampered with a complimentary latte. I highly recommend Trent Edwards as a true professional and top in the business. more

Trent is a fabulous hair stylist! He's been cutting and coloring my hair for over 5 years, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. And he's become a good friend in the process. I highly recommend him and his professional staff. His salon is perched on a hill in downtown Lake Oswego with a stunning view of Mt. Hood. And Guests are treated to their favorite espresso drink... so prepare to be pampered and enjoy the compliments you're sure to receive. more

I could ask for anything better! Trent completely understands everything I want. I'm a brunette and I have had problems in the past with other stylists making my highlights orange. Trent does them beautifully every time! He is attuned to what every client is comfortable with and consistently creates exactly what they were looking for. I can't rave enough about Trent and his salon! My friends and family all see him!! more

I discovered Trent, now owner of the Trent Edward Salon in Lake Oswego, about 3 1/2 years ago. He had just moved here from a salon in La Jolla and I met him on his first day at a local salon. I was even his very first client in Portland, and we made an immediate connection. He has since opened his own salon and I am enjoying watching his business grow. We are so lucky to have him in this community. Trent is a true professional whom I also consider a friend. I have never worked with anyone with his expertise in cut and color, and the L?Oreal Salon product line he uses is outstanding. Trent creates a nice balance between giving me what I want and giving me some new ways to think about my hair. He listens and delivers. If you are looking for a true artist and fun guy to talk to you cannot go wrong with Trent. more

What you Want when You Want it! 5/2/2011

I have been a client of Trent's for 5 years and he has saved my hair!! I used to have the blond on top black underneath hairstyle and when I joined a modeling agency, they told me it had to be one cover all over, that color being blond. My old hairstylist ruined it by stripping the color out all in one days time of 6 hours. My hair was an in between pink and brown color from being stripped and my hair used to be to my back but afterwards, it was shoulder length. I was crying and crying. I met Trent at a runway show because he was doing the hair there. He made my hair beautifully blond and did treatments which saved my hair. My hair is healthy and growing much longer now! He is a great hairstylist and it is always fun to go in and relax, and walking out you feel like you hit the jackpot. I recommend his salon to anyone that enjoys top of the line service and you always get what you ask for! I'm going in on Friday and getting my highlights :) Can't wait! more

The Royal Treatment 4/5/2011

If you want a salon that treats you like a queen and makes you look and feel like a million bucks this is the place for you. From the moment you walk in to the moment that you leave you are treated with the best customer service you can imagine. \r \r I have been going to Trent for 3 years now and I completely trust his judgement when it comes to my hair and I have never felt that way about any other hairstylist before. Since then my sister and my mother are also hooked. I will never go to anyone else! more

Rachel is the AMAZING!! 3/1/2011

Rachel has been doing my hair for probably 5 years now. She always gets what i want with my hair even when i'm not sure =] i've also brought in pictures and she's matched them perfectly. i've been all over the board with my my hair color and cut and she's been great with everything! i've had bright panels with red and pink, dark dark brown, medium brown with highlights, bright blonde highlights, red streaks! pretty much everything. my hair always looks and feels great afterwards. she offers glosses and deep conditioners that are worth the few extra dollars too. i've seen the work from others at this salon too and it's always good! trent's new salon is beautiful! go book your appointment with rachel! more

Excellent! 2/22/2011

I have been a client of Trent for 3 years now (I followed him to two different salons before he opened up his own), and I hope he is never moves away. I have been coloring my hair since the age of 17 as a ""bleached blond"" and am very particular about the tone and the naturalness of my haircolor, as well as the health and shine of it. Trent has ALWAYS delivered. He really knows what he is doing with color (my main concern) and has given me great cuts which I frequently get compliments on. Trent has managed to provide a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere and experience in his little salon - and always has a nice Latte ready. I love that I can get this level of service and his salon is only blocks from home, plus he works around my often difficult schedule as a working mom. more

Best of the Best 2/22/2011

Trent Edward Salon is hair artistry at it's best. I think there are a lot of great hair stylists out there, but few stand out like the stylists at the Trent Edward Salon. A good friend in the business referred me and I've been seeing Trent now for about 5 months. Everytime I walk out of the Trent Edward Salon I feel like a million bucks! A great place! 2/18/2011

I have been blessed with hair that can best be described as pube-y. It's a mixture of heinous kink and random curl that will never completely straighten. I've tried just about every product and never noticed any significant difference. I was debating a brazillian blow out but really wanted it to be the last option. A few weeks ago Trent had me try something that FINALLY made my hair shiny, smooth and light! It is called Liss Ultime by L'Oreal. I use the shampoo, masque, and serum. I would highly recommend it to anyone who shares my hair issues. In addition to the product, I love the TES. It is cute, clean and very friendly! I would trust Trent with a cut, color or product advice. Give it a try! more

Smart Salon 2/17/2011

Why do I keep coming back to see Trent? I love how he cuts and colors my hair and because I think he is smart about it. He knows the science behind the coloring techniques. He teaches coloring techniques to other stylist around the Metro area so that should give you an idea of how good he is. I always come away with a hair color that looks very natural and I often change colors. \r \r If you are in a hair style rut, Trent is also really great with creating a new style. I was convinced I could not wear my hair without bangs. His cuts slowly transformed my style to one I never thought I would wear and I LOVE IT! As cheesy as it sounds, I always leave his shop feeling beautiful. \r more

Trent Edwards Salon 2/17/2011

For years I have had an ongoing fear of getting my hair cut or dyed professionally, the fear, a result of a very substandard highlight and layering job on my hair years prior. Rachel Dunlop, whom is a stylist at the Trent Edwards salon has totally regained my confidence, by displaying impressive abilities in both cut and color. My color always looks natural and my cuts always grow out nicely. This salon is a nice environment, friendly people, I recommend checking it out. more

Trent is AMAZING! No one better on L.O. or Portland! 2/4/2011

I am so happy that Trent finally has his own salon. I first met him at another salon in LO, but his new place is so much nicer. It's warm and cheery, and I know when I get there that I'm going to leave looking my absolute best. There really is no one better in all of Portland when it comes to cut and color. His cuts are really GREAT! That said, he is an absolute master of color. My hair is never left damaged, dry or frizzy. And I beat up my hair A LOT. Trent keeps it looking really soft and healthy. I read in another review that someone drives from Seattle to see him. I am not surprised. He knows a lot about different product lines, and has never steered me in the wrong direction. Another thing I really like about the salon is that they always have little nibbles to eat. :) I'm a sucker for a cookie. more

Rachel is the greatest EVER!!! 2/3/2011

Rachel is just awesome, and the salon is great too! Everyone at the salon is always friendly and fun. I always love what Rachel does with my hair, and she has gotten to know me so well that we can brainstorm new ideas together. Going to Trent Edward salon is like having a little luxury, pampering session. A made to order espresso, a little treat, oh, and yes, getting my hair done, precisely the way I want! You would have to drag me kicking and screaming to go anywhere else! more

Great hair color & cuts - Great relaxed atmosphere! 1/31/2011

I've been going to Trent for 3 years now - followed him from 2 previous salons to his very own in Lake Oswego. I really trust him with my cut & color. He uses awesome (professional Loreal) products that leave my hair silky & full of movement. The atmosphere is warm & inviting - from the moment you step in the door & you're offered a tea or latte by any of the friendly hair stylists. I get plenty of compliments on my hair - most are surprised to know it's not my natural color. The mix & technique Trent uses leaves it looking naturally highlighted without the bother of weaving. I've never been less than 100% happy with my visits! more
