Nickey was at my house the day after I called (I couldn't meet him same day). Very nice guy and super knowledgeable about trees - what kinds, what's wrong and how I can do a few things to fix and help make them healthier. \r
We spent about 30-40 minutes walking the yard going over each tree (7 with major work, identified 14 total). Most my oaks and a few others needed about $185 (average) worth of work each - hadn't been pruned in years, huge over growth and dead limbs from the drought. (Plus they cleaned up a few small trees for free, branches overlapping...) They trimmed back everything basically in one day (I met with Nickey Thurs; they came buy and did 1 tree Friday and got the rest Monday). As I drove home Monday they were sweeping the street and cleaning the last bits up - nothing even on the lawn to show they were there. \r
My trees look fantastic and I am going to clean up their bases and get them on a regular watering schedule to keep them that way. Nickey even told me what I can do to trim them to keep them healthy and how often they should be looked at. He mentioned he's going to put up a new web page too with tons of information on Texas trees etc... \r
Honest guy and they did exceptional work. Can't beat that.\r
Pros: Great people, great work, very clean
Cons: It ain't cheap once you realize how many trees you have!
