Coming from New York I am an extremely picky customer!! I have tried day spas all over LA. Even the ones rated #1 in top magazines and none of them compare to Treats for The Face.Treats is the only place I have found that uses Soft Gummy Wax. Which apparently no one anywhere in LA knows about and the only wax that is supposed to be used on your sensitive areas. My skin is unbelievably improved since taking there expert advice!! I highly recommend this spa for waxing, facials and any of your beauty needs. more

I got my first full bikini wax at Pink Cheeks (very popular place) & it was one of the most painful experiances of my life!!! I couldn't walk for 2 days my punnani was in physical pain, it looked like a red lobster, it was peeling & they sold me some stuff for the pain so that I wouldn't get ingrown hair (but forgot to mention to wait for the next day before using it & of course it had alchole in it & it burned the hell out of me) trust me I'm not even kidding about it. All I could think was how painful it is to be a woman & how we have to suffer though this every few weeks. I even went back there a 2nd time. Then I asked a friend where she went to get waxed down under, so she recommended Veronica . I will NEVER EVER go back to the Pink Cheeks. Do people actually think its suppose to be that PAINFUL??? Treats for the Face was like comparing apples to oranges when it came to the horrible pain at the other place. Veronica is great & I will always refer family & friends to her. Waxing doesn't have to hurt ladies or at least not as bad as it hurt at the other place!!! Unless ur into pain, then that's a whole other story. If you don't believe me, go see Veronica & then tell me that waxing is suppose to be painful ... I dare u!!! Another thing I noticed is that Veronica is very clean, wears gloves & uses a new stick with every client. Next time you go to any other place, pay attention ... maybe you're getting waxed with someone else's left over stick & no gloves ... do you really want to go back there??? MUAH!! Thanks Veronica!!! OMG! This is the best kept secret in the valley. For all those who are afraid of bikini waxing, you need not fret! This was by far the best experience ever. Their wax is homemade and there is completely sanitary. You might get a little bit of shopping down while you are at it. Pros: Painless bikini waxing Cons: some trouble with street parking more

I have fixed an appointment while I was still in Switzerland and two weeks later I entered the Salon - which really surprised me by being a tanning studio, waxing salon and boutique all in one. Small but homy, clean with friendly staff and extraordinary service. I felt save and well taken care of and it didn't need too much time to get everything done what I felt like getting done at this moment. Apparently when I fixed the appointment they calculated enough time for me - so besides getting an extraordinary Brazilian Wax I also got a half leg wax and an eyebrow wax - and I felt like blooming when I left. I really enjoyed being there - and I promise - in September I can be found at Treats for the Face again!! See you!! Pros: Great Service - friendly staff - feeling comfortable Cons: Waxing wasn't completely painless... felt something though. more

The receptionist and waxer are both pretty good looking, but made me feel comfortable and not like I was intruding on a girl's place. Veronica, I think that was her name, fixed my brows so i didn't look like I had a big caterpillar on my face, and i was in/out within 10 minutes and that is without having an appointment first. I can recommend this place to other men who are having a hard time finding somewhere to go, and feeling embarassed to do it. They even have some stuff there you can pick up for your girl or wife, and a flower shop next door too. Now if only that Italian restaurant next door would open! Pros: owner will do any waxing on men, too Cons: i wish there would have been clothes for me to buy- for me! more

I love the shop itself, and the service is top notch. They have squeezed me into their schedule more than once. They're great listeners, always working with me on achieving the results I want. They have never been so tacky as to hard sell 'additional' products or services, as with some salons. They truly do treat everyone like they are a celebrity. I had totally broken-out...worse than anything I had ever experienced, even in highschool (i'm 27 now, wtf is going on?). I called the morning of, and they were able to get me in!!! The receptionist and Veronica (the owner) were so incredibly sweet and helpful. I got an awesome facial, and my "blemishes" were zapped and looked a zillion times better!!!! Veronica is very knowledgeable, and even though I entered feeling quite ugly and embarrassed, I left feeling more confident and even luminous : ) On a side note, the salon is SO CUTE!!!! It's also this great little boutique (affordable and fabulous!). You won't want to leave!!! Pros: Excellent service more
