Rude sales women 11/9/2014

I was taken back by the sales women's approach to selling furniture. She greeted me and asked when I would be needing my furniture. With more than 2 months until I need a crib she was aghast at the fact I have not purchased a crib yet. She eve had the audacity to ask me "May I ask why you haven't purchased a crib yet? Hasn't anyone told you?" Warning, do not tell a pregnant lady they are on a time line and have missed an important deadline. They are fully aware as to what needs completed. Let's just say I left and took my business elsewhere and a beautiful crib with equal quality will be arriving within a week. Not a good sales tactic if you ask me. more

If you get defective products they will not help you 5/9/2012

I will never shop here again. I went here thinking its Chesterfield and has nicer upscale furniture. Can't go wrong? I was wrong. When you have a problem with your furniture, they put you off. I takes forever to get a hold of anyone and there is always an excuse. When you finally get someone, they tell you that you are wrong, that's what its supposed to look like or that's what it looked like in store (after delivery). Even if you have picture that THEY asked for to give proof, they then say pictures don't really show anything. They react as if they are just waiting for you to give up and they are constantly blaming someone else for the problem instead of standing behind their sale. Check the better business bureau site first. I wish I had. more

this store has great customer service. everyone who i spoke with when i went in was very friendly and helpful. their selection of furniture is mainly what they are known for. definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for baby furniture. more

Treasure Rooms-Excellent Prices and Service 3/24/2011

My shopping experience at this location was terrific. The sales people are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and they were not pushy at all. The prices were also extremely reasonable for the quality of the products they were selling from what I could tell shopping around. Overall it was great and I would buy from them again. more

NIGHTMARE ROOMS 2/16/2010

Believe me, this store is not worthy of your money. The store had incorrect inventory numbers from the start, the wrong crib was delivered and the two dressers were damaged. I firmly believe they were used pieces of furniture. Unfortunately, it got worse. When I tried to schedule a service call (after weeks of no answers, unreturned phone calls and smug conversations) the owner actually argued with me. He was by far the rudest business person I have ever dealt with. It would be difficult to explain how unreal the encounter was. It would be laughable if not for the fact that I have a son on the way and am now behind schedule. Customers who saw the exchange left the store. Dennis Michael is his name. Avoid him and avoid the store. You will come out better in the end. I ended up returning the furniture because anybody that rude does not deserve my money. more

DO NOT SHOP HERE 2/2/2009

This place has horrible customer service. It took over 6 months for our items to arrive (they told us 3 months). When they did arrive, 2 pieces of furniture had scratches on them and had to be returned and repaired. We also asked where the furniture was made when deciding what items to buy, they told us Canada. It arrived at our house with "MADE IN CHINA" stickers on them. I called to complain and the owner called me a liar. He said that it wasn't his problem, I needed to talk to the saleswoman whom I purchased the items from. You would think if you paid $3500 for nursery furniture you'd get a little more respect from them. Don't waste your time. more

Let me count the ways... For my benefit, and yours, the story must be told. It will help me relieve some of the frustration and stress this crooked enterprise has put on me, but it will also (hopefully) keep you from ever buying anything from these complete morons. In 2008 it was nearing the end of January. Over dinner one night my husband, Brian, and I began to talk about how we hadn't heard anything on the delivery of our furniture. I surely must be in soon we thought. The wonderful saleswoman Angela at Treasure Rooms told us when we purchased our furniture on September 22, 2007 that it would take no more than 12 weeks to come in. She assured us it was worth the wait because every piece was made to order in Canada. No problem we said. The baby isn't due until April. The end of December would still leave us plenty of time. Well the end of January is a little different than the end of December, so I decided to give them a call. I called first thing Monday morning and spoke to a nice receptionist, who's name escapes me. I asked if I could get the status of my furniture. I even gave her the order number since I had the receipt in front of me. She then tells me I'll have to wait and speak to our saleswoman Angela and that she wasn't working that day. She asked if I could call back tomorrow. Why Angela couldn't call me (two phone numbers were listed on the order slip) I don't know. The next day I called and spoke with Angela. "Oh they just arrived at our warehouse yesterday afternoon. I was just going to call you." Sure they did. Sure she was. Nonetheless, it didn't matter. Our baby furniture had arrived and our nursery would soon filled. She gave me the phone number of their delivery company so I could call and schedule a delivery date. I called the number immediately and spoke to a very scared young woman who explained to me that the girl who normally places delivery dates was sick and wouldn't be in until the next day. She said she could "try" and schedule the delivery for me, but it would take a little while for more

Overpriced Baby Furniture 3/31/2006

While on our hunt to furnish our son's room My husband and I came across an outrageously expensive baby furniture store. The Treasure Room did have some nice furniture, but the prices were unbelievable. We are not cheap people, and completely believe you get what you pay for, but we had to leave this store after one walk through. I don't know if the sales people work on commission, but they would not leave us alone from the moment we walked in! more

Great baby boutique 9/2/2005

This is a wonderful place to go if you are expecting. They have all sorts of higher end baby items, and a lot of furniture and nursery items to choose from. While prices may be a little higher than you find at some other more national type chain stores, you'll get more personal service and higher quality stuff here. I definitely recommend checking this store out. They have a variety of baby items so it's a fun place to go just to get ideas of what you might want and need. more
