Maybe this one is best left on its own. I have trouble to try to pinpoint the person Treasure Island is set up to cater to. Maybe a first timer. Maybe if you get a substantial discount. You see, it is not a very good hotel. Everything is between so, so and OK. There are really no redeeming qualities to the hotel, the staff, the food or the bars. the valet service is outright substandard. No, I would in most cases leave this place to someone else. Recommend it to an enemy, perhaps. Pros: Don't know any Cons: , Check-in inefficient, Confused in total more

Good Service? How about harrassment? 3/28/2004

Treasure Island exemplifies the worst of Vegas, which is substantial anyway. The security harrassed me and other clients for they refused to come up to and verify our hotel room when we lost a key. Instead, they smiled while treating me like a criminal and purposely stalled letting me go up to my hotel room at 3 am in the morning. I had the worst vacation of my life in Vegas (I was their due to a bachelor party, not for my own interest), and the incident with the security topped it off. Vegas is really a pathetic hedonistic experience that is very shallow and materialistic. Some people go on a vacation to learn something about another culture or atleast gain soem intellectual insight. Other people go to satisfy their craving for money and greed. I can see why some people have distorted generalized view of America. more

Excellent hotel 3/24/2004

I stayed here for 4 nights in Febuary 2004 and had a terrific time. I stayed in their Executive suite for only 140.00 a night and it was spacious and luxurious. The best room feature though- 2 huge his and her bathrooms. Housekeeping cleaned the room spotless everyday. Excellent service from all the staff especially the valet people. They park your car for free and get it back real fast. The location was great with all the other major hotels directly in the middle. The new pirate show was just okay. The only dissapointment was the food. The buffet was not very good. Pros: Value, Great service, Spacious rooms more

Not so good service 3/14/2004

I desided to give this hotel another chance after my last stay in May of 2003. That was a bad idea. The service at the check in counter was horrible, the dealers were rude, and when I ordered room service at 1am, they took 3 hours to bring it up. They had me waiting until 4am! The only thing I love about this hotel is Kahunaville! The food is good, the music is great and the bartenders are outstanding! Pros: Kahunaville, suites Cons: , rude employees, small rooms more

I desided to give this hotel another chance after my last stay in May of 2003. That was a bad idea. The service at the check in counter was horrible, the dealers were rude, and when I ordered room service at 1am, they took 3 hours to bring it up. They had me waiting until 4am! I've stayed at T.I. many times, but this last trip I was disapointed by the changes to decor, the pirate show and the sign out front. Funny thing is, it wasn't just me. Every other person I talked to, both guest and staff had the same opinion. However, I still had a great time. It still has nice rooms with a great view, good food, a perfect size casino and the best show on the strip, Mystere. I have stayed in other hotels in Las Vegas but you cannot beat Treasure Island for pure value and class. The rooms are excellent and are extremely reasonably priced. TIP: I find it is best to book on their website and once you have made your booking keep an eye out on the price as it can go down and then just alter your booking!! I have saved $10-20 per night this way!! Pros: Rooms Excellent, Not over crowded, Excellent Steak House Cons: Check In can be slow more

TIP: I find it is best to book on their website and once you have made your booking keep an eye out on the price as it can go down and then just alter your booking!! This year will be my sixth trip to Vegas in about 10 years, I've stayed at Treasure Island all but twice I've tried two other hotels on the Strip but they just don't add up. The hotel is very clean, I like having a safe in the room, the restaurant & buffet are very good, the casino is the perfect size, the employees are phenomenal. The pool's never been too crowded, I recommend a cabana! All around I'm 110% satisfied with Treasure Island I honestly don't think I'd bother with another hotel. Pros: clean, great service, big casino Cons: buffetclosestooearly more
