I do expect on staying here in the future 1/14/2011

This is the 2nd time I stayed here, and I am pleased all the cleanliness and courtesy from the desk etc. I value good parking and a sense of security. I expect to stay again next year. more

All of the staff were so nice 12/29/2010

Booked a room for Saturday night, because of the great value. After reading some of the highly negative reviews, I must admit I was having second thoughts. But, we forged on ahead, and we had a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, bathroom was spotless, a nice quiet location, and we slept very well. Very friendly, helpful front desk. Don't know where all the negative reviews came from, we enjoyed our stay, great value, and will definitely stay here again more

I would stay here again 12/21/2010

I read a lot of bad comments about this place but stayed there anyway since the price was the lowest around. I found this place quiet, clean, and more than adequate for a quick 2-night stay. Now I wouldn;t want to make a vacation of the place, it isn't a good honeymoon spot or a place to take your spouse to on your anniversary, but if you want clean, cheap, basic rooms, I think this place will do just fine. It is older, a bit worn in some things but otherwise I'd stay again. Restuarants nearby or just a quick drive to downtown Bellingham to find upscale brew pubs near the University. About 1-1/2 hours to Mt Baker ski resort. more

You can't go wrong here 12/14/2010

IIm passing through from Alaska to Oregon and needed a place to stay. The room I was given is very clean and in good condition over all. The decor could use updating and the noise from the hall and upstairs guest is noticeable but not unbearable. I wont be staying for the continental breakfast so i cant comment on that but if you need a good budget motel for a night or two you cant go wrong here, lots of place to eat nearby too. more

Relaxed and very tranquil stay 12/7/2010

Overall, it was quiet, clean, and easily accessible. The service was good, and overall, we had a very relaxed, nice stay. I would definitely recommend this motel. more

I enjoyed my stay 12/2/2010

Room was very comfortable. Nice view in the morning. Everything was clean. more

No problems at all 11/23/2010

I have stayed at this hotel three times in the last 2 years. It is a basic, comfortable, affordable hotel. The people at the front desk have always been very helpful and pleasant. The pool is very small but it would be fun for small children. The breakfast consists of drinks, muffins/pastries and fruit. It's location is convenient for visiting Western Washington University. I will stay there again. more

No complaints whatsoever 11/10/2010

Several friends and I stayed at the Bellingham Travelodge overnight while attending a nearby soccer tournament. For the price we paid and what we needed, this hotel suited us just fine. The room was very basic and had exactly what you'd expect from a hotel room: beds, TV, phone, closet, towels, soap, and shampoo. Most important, though, was that the room and linens were clean. Following a long day of soccer, we took advantage of the hotel's pool, hot tub, and sauna. Be forewarned that, like the size of the hotel, all of these amenities are very small. Nevertheless, they did the trick for a quick and relaxing dip. Showers are provided in nearby bathrooms, and the facilities are accessible via a keycoded gate (the access code is provided by the front desk staff). The hotel itself is very conveniently located near I-5, Western Washington University, other hotels, eateries, a supermarket, and several coffee shops. Overall, my friends and I got just what we wanted: a cheap and clean place to crash for the night. more

Very enjoyable experience 11/3/2010

Good place to rest, and enjoy Bellingham. Very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely recommend this to fellow travelers. Pleasantly surprised that there was breakfast, and the staff was very helpful, nice, and friendly. Seems like they've done some very good improvements from past reviews more

Lots of places are very nearby 10/28/2010

Im writing from a room at this Travelodge and honestly its not as bad as the other reviews say it is. Im passing through from Alaska to Oregon and needed a place to stay. The room I was given is very clean and in good condition over all. The decor could use updating and the noise from the hall and upstairs guest is noticeable but not unbearable. I wont be staying for the continental breakfast so i cant comment on that but if you need a good budget motel for a night or two you cant go wrong here, lots of place to eat nearby too. more

Can't go wrong here 10/25/2010

I stayed here in March, the bed was very comfortable and I actually got a good nights rest. Although there were kids galore everywhere (some kind of graduation going on) it was quiet at night and very restful. I got a night for 44.10 and let me tell you...I'd stay here again. Everything is nearby....a Top Foods is just around the corner and a Stuart Andersons steak house is right across the street and you can't go wrong there. more

Thank you!!!! 10/21/2010

I left my cell phone in the bed! Did not realize it until Seattle, too late to turn back yet get to Portland on time. So, I telephoned, and the manager mailed my phone so I got it next day! That is really special kindness. Third time I have stayed there, and will stay again. Thank you, Young Moon, Manager. more

great value price 10/18/2010

I stayed there last week. The mattress was firm and new, the bed linen and towels adequate, and I did not notice any "improper" activities that apparently take place in other motels nearby. The guests included families with kids, househunting retirees, some European turists, and Greyhound drivers catching some shuteye. Very convenient to the Sehome Village and WWU. Not a bad value at their website rate ($43). more
