Our founder Herr David Traub moved from Bavaria to Chester, Pennsylvania and opened a bakery in 1888. He brought with him the Traub's family recipes all the way from Germany. The bakery moved to the Sharon Hill area many years later and in 1966 we relocated here in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania. Traub's Bakery has become well known in the area for our famous Bavarian cream and delicious baked goods and we are still baking these amazing delicacies today.
