My boss and I were entertaining two gentlemen from a different company arriving from out of town. Arriving at 5:30 on a Tuesday evening found the restaurant quite and expecting customers. Owner was running around checking on waitstaff and even restroom cleanliness. Greeted upon arrival by hostess I told her about our 6:30 reservation. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. I wasn't at the bar 2 minutes when I was provided a draft beer in an authentic glass (Bass ale). My boss arrived 5 minutes later, he was served, and then the last two arrived. They too got their drinks and we asked to be seated. We were promptly moved to a nice table and our bar bill transfered with a nod. Dinner was super. Calamari appet was perfectly presented, sized, and enjoyable. Parm cheese with olive oil and balsamic was prepared for dipping a bread was provided. We were able to take our time and talk before, during, and after with NO RUSH. Food orders were Halibut, Osso Bucco, Gnocchi (not offered on menu at the time but had it when asked), and Duck as a special. All arrived hot, nicely portioned, and superbly presented. Waitstaff was attentive at all times. Dessert was cappuccino, coffee, sambuca (both white and black), and donuts with berries and tiramisu. We left there at 9 pm having enjoyed a great meal, made nice with the out of town visitors, and happy for the experience. If you are looking for that type of evening, I strongly suggest this restaurant. I haven't been on a weedend and in a hurry so cannot comment.
