Transplant Transmissions

What a great experience. I have an older Corvette and was looking for a shop I could trust to do the job right. These guys were great! The only thing better then the customer service was the knowledgeable Technicians. I asked for an estimate to repair the transmission and received a very detailed estimate. When the transmission was pulled, I received a call telling me that I didn't need a rebuild , just some sells. The shop charged me less then half the original estimate. Great Customer service, excellent technicians and honesty! Hard to find these days. I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone. more

My cousin recommended Transplant Transmission when I needed a new transmission. Arlene, the owner, was so nice, and the whole staff was very helpful and informative. They explained to me the pros and cons of using vs. rebuilding. I really appreciate the time they took to work with me. Everything seems to be working fine so far. They asked me to bring it back in two weeks, so they can make sure there are no leaks and that the flow is still good. To any potential customers, I will say that if you opt for them to take out the transmission, they do have to disassemble it completely. This is labor intensive, so just make sure that rebuilding the transmission is what you want to do when you go to them. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I received! more

Transplant Transmission rebuilt my transmission and they did a really good job on it. I think Bill was very thorough in his repair work and I'm happy with it. They didn't charge me as much as other transmission places may have had the opportunity to charge. They seem to me to be honest and dependable. They get the work done when say they are going to and are very thorough about it. more

My truck needed a transmission repair and I took it to Transplant Transmission. After the repair was done, I took the truck back for a follow-up and they did not like the sound the transmission was making, so they kept it for a couple more days. I have been driving it and the truck is running well. They would like to look at it one last time, so I will just be taking it back for another follow-up soon. more

Transplant Transmission replaced the transmission on my car. They did well. They were going to check the transmission after a few days to make sure all was running well. Unfortunately, my car was hit ten days ago and has been in and out of the shop. I have not been able to take the car in for the check-up, but Ill get to it once I have my car back. more

I had a front end rattling problem with my car. Generally, Transplant Transmission did a fairly good job at troubleshooting and fixing 90 of the problem. However, it still rattles a small amount. I think there's something else that they needed to do also. I was expecting that after talking to them about specific problems and work, it would be back to factory-new, but it's not quite there. more

Transplant Transmission fixed my transmission and put a new clutch in my Jeep Wrangler. They also replaced some stuff in the steering column, and did some work with the suspension. They do a nice job. The people are great mechanics, and they're easy to talk to. They go above and beyond what most mechanics do. I appreciate their work. They stay late to get things done and allow you to pick it up that night. more

I have been looking high and low for a garage that won't rip me off or act like I don't know a thing about cars best I'm a girl. They welcomed me with open arms. I have an 04 mitsubishi endeavor and it was making a bad humming noise. Since it has 130,000 miles on it I thought it may be a transmission issues. They found out it was 2 wheel bearing and even informed me a previous garage that put a new strut mound on my car twice because the first one they replaced it with was worse than the original one on it was still in fact busted. And the urinal reason why they replaced it was because I kept hearing a blinking noise which I said it was coming from the back but they insisted irt was the strut. Transplant transmissions did in fact tell me it was the back bushings. So a garage that ' fixed it' had me pay for a part that didn't need fixed and when they did out the first time it wasn't fixed and they damaged my break ABS sensor which I had to replace and then take it back for them to fix it again and it still isn't. Transplant transmissions are honest, informative, and don't rip you off. I'll be back to finish giving my car when I have the money :-) more
