I'm very happy with Transplant Transmission. I recently moved to the area from Cleveland so this was my first experience trying to find a trustworthy car shop and I'm very glad that I chose them. They're very knowledgeable, genuine, and accommodating. I didn't second guess anything. I did a little research on the pricing and was very pleased with the prices from Transplant Transmission. David rebuilt my transmission for me and got the work done in a timely fashion. He finished it by the deadline he told me he would and the work is solid. My car has been running great ever since the service. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I definitely feel like I can trust them and Transplant Transmission will be the first place I will go the next time I need a car repair. more

Very accomodating 3/4/2014

The guys over at Transplant Transmission were great. They are extremely helpful and I never have any issue with them. I really like how, if I am having an issue while driving home, I can stop in and they will work on it right there. They are always willing to work with me and check out whatever problem I may have. If I call them, there is never a problem with them answering. Working with them I have peace of mind. I just had something redone in June, and they fixed it for me free of charge. more

Quick and courteous service. 3/3/2014

I had a feeling my transmission was acting up so I took it to Transplant Transmission for the first time. They promptly had someone look at it right away and diagnosed it on the spot. They rebuilt my transmission and had it back in 3 days. They were also able to help me out with a payment plan and that impressed me. more

Fast, efficient, courteous 2/26/2014

I really appreciated the honesty and the workmanship of Transplant Transmission. They were really good about keeping me up to date about what was going on with my vehicle. They actually came across another issue with my car during a repair and replaced some parts for me free of charge which I was very grateful for. They really went above and beyond with my needs. I actually called three other places and Transplant Transmission had the best price. David is accommodating, knowledgeable, and more helpful than any other. There was never any holdup with the service. I'd strongly recommend them. more

Quick experience 1/10/2014

Working with Transplant Transmission was a very pleasant and easy experience. They came to get me when they had finished working on my car and their promptness was welcoming. Overall, I was very appreciative of them and liked the fact that they were very upfront about the price. more

Very nice and accommodating, but I think they could have done it faster. 12/27/2013

Transplant Transmission rebuilt our transmission. My only problem with them was that it took three weeks initially, and then another issue arose maybe two or three weeks later. There was a noise that wasn't there before. I took the car back to have that fixed as well. Even the head guy was not happy with his crew, because we had waited so long already and gone forever without a car. They were very nice about everything, but waiting that long wasn't great. more

Honest place. 12/24/2013

Transplant Transmission gave me a lifetime warranty and have stood behind it 100%. I've been going there for close to ten years, and I'm not sure if they offer that anymore. Anyway, I think they are a very trustworthy operation. I trust them more than other transmission people I have dealt with. more

Transplant Transmission most recently replaced my transmission and cleaned out my engine, but I've actually been going there for a half dozen years. I've taken a couple of different vehicles to them. They are very easy to work with, very friendly, and incredibly accommodating. more

Honest and reliable shop 12/7/2013

The japanese car dealer could not fix the engine light on my dash board thought it could be a transmission problem told me to bring it to a transmission specialist. Brought it to Transplant Transmission to verify then found out that it just needs a tuneup. TT replaced the spark plugs and air filters then tuned up the engine. My fifteen year old car is again back on the road. Feels like driving a new car again. Should I brought it to another shop I could have been rip-off. Transplant transmission is honest and reliable. A family run business you can trust. I thought they only fix transmission issues but they do other services as well. From now on I will bring my car to Transplant Transmission for my auto maintenance and repair. more

Transplant Transmission rebuilt the transmission in my car. I've used them four times previously. I know that they're the best in the business, because they were recommended to me by a person who was in the transmission business for 20 years. That's why I started using them. I continue going to them, because I know my life may depend on the work they do. It's not the price, because they are a little more pricey. I know they stand 100 percent behind the work that they do. You don't have to worry when you leave with your car. more

Transplant Transmission was kind of disorganized originally but when they got close to the deadline, they really pulled through and got the repairs done quickly. Everything came through well. The truck is running well so I would recommend them. more

Transplant Transmission did a good job. 9/18/2013

Transplant Transmission rebuilt the transmission for my suburban. I was very happy with the process and and the way things were done. The vehicle runs great. The only thing I was not happy with was the estimate. It was a lot more when it came time to pay the bill. The people from Transplant were nice to deal with. They know what they're doing and they know their business. Just verify what the quote is being to be. They quoted me $1,700 and it ended up being $2,600. That's a $900 difference. Other than that they were great. more

Friendly, affordable service. 9/16/2013

Transplant Transmission did a transmission rebuild for me. While they were in there, they diagnosed some hard parts and did some other work in order to ensure the efficiency of the transmission. They went above and beyond and found some things that needed to be done to make sure it stayed working. They also have a great warranty. It was the best deal I could find when I was looking around at pricing. more

Transplant Transmission put in a transmission condenser and its lines for me. I decided to go there because it's close to my house. Once I got there, the fact that they offer good pricing stood out. I've only been once, but I would go back to them. more
