Gentle, Professional, Peaceful 5/18/2012

My family was full of grief and sadness as we had to say goodbye to Deja, our much-loved 16-year-old cocker spaniel. She let us know when ""it was time"". We did not want her last few minutes of life to be at the vet's office. I called Dr. McReynolds and she was willing and able to come out that same day. She was prompt, professional, and gentle. Our old friend passed quickly and very peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. We thank Dr. McReynolds for making this difficult and sad situation as good as it could be. more

The last act of kindness you can give your pet 1/7/2012

Dr. MG McReynolds is a wonderful compassionate doctor. Our almost 12 year old very much loved Walker Hound had cancer and had fought hard for 5 months. When we knew it was finally time, as hard as that decision was to make, we knew we wanted her to pass at home. Our baby girl hated the car and hated going to the vet. She was able to pass in absolute peace on her sofa, with her blankie with myself and my husband telling her we loved her. Her furry sisters were able to say goodbye. Thank you Dr. MG McReynolds we are still grieving our baby girl but, you made Maggie's passing very peaceful. more

Simply The Best Choice For Such a Difficult Decision 3/7/2011

Last Summer Gunther, my beloved 14-year-old German Shepherd, fell ill to age and could no longer walk. It was a horribly painful time for both myself and Gunther. Making the decision to have him put down was one of the most difficult of my entire life. Dr. McReynolds took my call at the last moment and arrived at my home later that day. She was kind and gentle and sincere with regard to Gunther's health situation. In fact, Dr. McReynolds even helped me through the painful situation. All the while explaining to me that my decision was for the best. Gunther never felt any pain from Dr. McReynolds. Rather, he was allowed to pass in peace in his own home surrounded by those who loved him. I cannot say enough about Dr. McReynolds. She is the best at what she does and really cares for those involved. more

Dr McReynolds is wonderful 10/22/2009

Dr McReynolds came to my home today to assist a longtime family member be eased of pain. My cat had enjoyed 17 years of fun life and the time had come that the pain was greater than the enjoyment. The good Dr McReynolds arrived and actually shared her own personal life as we prepared for the transition. A down-to-earth real person that actually cares and goes far and above to ensure you have everything needed during your time of grief. She gave him a shot that he didn't even notice to calm him and then we moved forward with helping him cross life's barrier. She shared hugs and empathy, while allowing me to make the choice how I wanted to proceed afterwards. Since I already had plans of ceremony and burial, she bid me farewell and allowed me to continue with final plans. Pros: Kind, understanding, compassionate Cons: No cons at all more

Home Euthanasia--The right choice. 2/21/2009

Dr. McReynolds helped us feel comfortable and confident that we were doing the right thing by ending the suffering of our beloved Kalah. We agonized over what to do for a couple of months but finally realized that we were keeping Kalah for us and not for her. Being at home, petting, holding, and talking to Kalah as she left us was the best way for us to say goodbye to our companion. Pros: Everything about the experience with Dr. McReynolds more

Compassionate care in a difficult time 12/19/2008

I honestly don't know what I would have done without Dr. McReynolds. The thought of taking my dog away from his home during my last hours with him was just too much to bear. Dr. McReynolds' caring and professional services were invaluable to my dog and me. Home euthanasia was the right choice for us. Pros: Extremely professional and caring vet, prompt & attentive more

Caring and Compassionate 9/14/2008

When I had to put my ailing 16 year old cat down, one of my primary concerns was reducing the stress of this difficult time on him and on myself. He had already been through so much; I wanted his passing to be as serene as possible. Dr. McReynolds was prompt, warm and professional, and having my cat in his own home when the time came was priceless to all of us. The whole process was quick and very peaceful. I would highly recommend this service to any pet owner facing this incredibly difficult decision. more
