My hygienist is terrific!! I actually look forward to my appointments!! The foot massage is delightful. Kudos all around for such a positive staff and green office!!

Great Overall 9/19/2011

Great Overall! I used to be afraid of dentists, because teeth are so important and I never understood what was happening. Dr. Fred and his team explained everything they were doing, as well as showed me pictures. Also, speaking of comfort, I was given noise-cancelling headphones and and iPod with many playlists to listen to while they cleaned my teeth, and I got a foot massage. Now, instead of dreading my next appointment, I'm looking forward to getting my 6-month reminder email! more

Although the technical expertise is cutting edge with early adoption of the newest advancements in dentistry - the office remains warm, with real people concerned with the absolute comfort of their guests. more

Gentle Touch 9/16/2011

Thank you so much for making my dental appointment as pleasant as it could be! The music and the foot massage really helped take my mind away from the drilling. And Dr. Pockrass' gentle touch was great. more

Transforming Dental Experience! 8/17/2011

I had to have two cavities filled and an old mercury filling replaced in the process. I braced myself for an annoying procedure....and for the needles (for numbing). The process wasn't all that bad. They even were great in handling my needle phobia. I felt no pain. They had me use a dedicated oxygen system (a safeguard in removing toxic mercury.) And they were careful to explain the process as we went along. The foot massage was a great distraction, too. more

Dr. Pockrass is amazing! 8/15/2011

Dr. Pockrass and his staff are exceptionally skilled. Dr. Pockrass put caps on my front teeth that are so natural looking that my twin sister and children did not notice the change, except to note that I looked great and rested! Dr. Pockrass is a true artist. The office is also exceptional--the foot rubs are amazing! more

I walked in with my front tooth wasted and jagged. Fred patched it up super smoothly. This is the second time he saved my booty. He took poisonous mercury a few years back as well. Five stars! Kudos Fred! more

Love the holistic approach! 8/11/2011

Who would ever think of visiting a dentist as a spiritual and healing experience where one received the services they came for but also felt nurtured, understood/heard, connected, and energized? That just doesn't happen at dental offices. What Transcendentist provides is the totality, the holistic approach to the patients experience in the office. Thank you! more

Spa Like Dentist 8/10/2011

All of the staff are very nice, and Dr. Fred Pokrass is very kind, caring, and takes pride in his work. His office is more like a spa than a dentists office. The foot massage during the treatment may sound gimmicky, but honestly, it relaxes you, brings your focus into your body, it feels so good. Thank you. more

I highly recommend! 7/25/2011

Very happy with the treatment I got from Dr. Fred and his staff!!!! My teeth never looked good, I was afraid of going to the dentist and so I put off going for way too long. Dr. Fred was very understanding of my fears. He and his staff made me feel relaxed and the end result - I feel healthier and my teeth look wonderful!!! I highly recommend Dr. Fred and all the lovely people that work at Transcendentist! more

Loved the digital x-ray system... so comfortable and loved the whole experience of feeling my teeth get their brightest, with the help of the fabulous, attentive hygienist... I have been Dr. Pockrass' patient for several years and he has changed my relationship with my teeth. He has done wonders with my mouth and all of the other professional referrals have been equally excellent. I am no longer the nervous patient with clenched teeth, daring the dentist or hygienist to treat me. more

The Best of the Best!! 7/19/2011

I am in the healthcare industry and I can honestly say that this office is one of the most amazing offices I have ever been to. Kind and caring professionals that have helped me regain my health and vitality. I had neglected my dental health for many reasons, none of them good. I arrived at the office 8 weeks ago with the beginnings of periodontal disease and today after my check up, Dr. Fred and his team have totally reversed the condition. Now that my mouth is not an infectious sewer, my entire health has improved. My experience here has been nothing but the best care, by the best people in the best surroundings. I can not rave about Dr. Fred and his team enough. They are quite simply, the Best of the Best!! more

In the 8 years I have been seeing Dr. Fred I have been treated with loving kindness and respect. He is a sweet man with a big heart. I recommend them to everyone I know and I hope that his vision for the dental industry comes true in your lifetime. more

There is no other dental team like this 7/8/2011

Everybody from Dr. Fred to the receptionist and especially Lindsay (dental hygenist0 care about your teeth and helping you understand how to take better care of them. And, they care about your comfort while undergoing various procedures. There is no other dental team like this. more

People who really care. 6/28/2011

Dr. Fred and his staff are such amazing, genuine people, beyond their impressive skills and treatment philosophy. I'm so pleased he helped me get rid of all the mercury in my mouth... I believe he is the first green dentist in the country. Plus the foot massage, hot tea and a phone call after you get home to check up on you?! This is just unheard of today. Reminds me of what family doctors used to be like in the old days. People who really care. Who get to know you on a personal level. I honestly can't say enough good things about Transcendentist. I know I sound like a commercial at this point. But they really are that good!!!! more
