Transcend Medi Spa

DO NOT GO TO THIS SPA>>>>WHAT A NIGHTMARE more

I went to Transcend four days ago for a Pixel skin resurfacing, and ended up with 2nd degree burns and blisters. After going to my doctor to have him look at my skin, I went to see Laurie at Transcend, and she didn't have much to say. She asked if I changed medications, was in the sun, and what I might have done. She didn't apologize, just commented that I should have seen someone other than my regular internal medicine doctor, because he doesn't know enough about lasers. There was no warning given that burning is a risk to the procedure. I will never return again. People need to be warned that there is a risk of blistering burns to pixels. My doctor told me I may have lasting scars to the areas where scar tissue will form from the blisters and burns. I also learned that the only training they receive at Transcend is from the manufacturer of the laser equipment - no medical training whatsoever. I strongly advise others to only have such procedures done by medically trained professionals, and to investigate more than I did about possible negative outcomes. I think Laurie had a duty to inform me that there are possible dangers. She did not, and she did not apologize or to make it right in any way. more

I had Dysport injections here and they did not work. I had them done at Rejuvenate in Woodbury and while it cost more it worked. They will not respond to my emails or calls either. Laurie will lure you in with discounts and then you don't get what they say you are getting, so you have to buy more. Dishonest!!! more

Came in off of a living social and wanted to get what my 100.00 would buy me, she told me I would need to spend a ""little"" more to have some effect..told me it would cost about 60.00 more dollars... When she rang me up she charged me 120.00 when I confronted her on it, she agreed to the 60.00 I had brusing that she said I wouldn't get because she was so careful.. I had it for 5 days, and it didn't even work, so I called her 5 days later she said call me in another month.. So I did and she said to drive back there and she would try something else and add more for 4.00 per unit,,, Have NO idea what she considers a unit, but then she tryed to charge me 180.00 to fix what didn't work in the first place and told me she would give me a deal of 8.00 finally agreed to pay an additional 80.00 , still didn't work, sent her and email and she said she didn't believe it and to come back in, I said I wanted to talk to her, Called, she won't return my calls and then NO ANWSER during business hours... SCAMMMM beware... more

I'm hesitant to post this because I'm afraid once word gets out about this place I won't be able to book an appointment, but Laurie is too good to keep a secret! I have been to multiple places for consultations and hands down Transcend Medi Spa offered the best prices, best customer service and a clean and comfortable atmosphere. Laurie spent years working in a dentist office and her knowledge of the facial muscles shows in her work and her gentle and steady hand and she is the only Medi Spa I know that transfers calls to her home for 24 hour a day availability in the event you had any questions post-procedure. You can't find that peace of mind anywhere else! Book you appointments while you still can because I'm sending all my friends and family there ;) more
