HORRIBLE HAIR CUT 10/20/2007

I have never written a review on any business before, but felt I had to based on my recent experience with Tranquility Spa. I went in for a haircut with Susie, and left the salon extremely unhappy. My hair is a complete disaster-it looks like a child cut it. She cut layers that don't lay properly, and because of the poor cut, my usually thick hair appears very thin and unhealthy. I almost didn't post this review because Susie and the rest of the staff are professional and courteous. However, I have never had such a bad haircut and felt like I needed to share my experience with other potential clients. more

I have been working in the entertainment and wellness industry for over a decade. My daily appearance is quite important. I venture out into the boroughs from manhattan for several reasons. Joann has always been my colorist/stylist. She truly has the client's best interest at heart, you are never a number in her chair. She can connect with any ""hair dream"" that the imagination or hollywood can conjure . I always walk out ecstatic with a color, and style that is unique to my own individuality and character. Im never disappointed EVER. A Fabulous staff, ambiance,service, and all around atmosphere that incorporates a whole lot of heart and soul, doesn't hurt either. KUDOS to TRANQUILITY more

I WENT IN FOR A TATTOO WITH SUSIE, SHE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. I SHOWED HER A PICTURE OF WHAT I WANTED AND SHE DID EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. SHE TOOK HER TIME AND WAS EXTREMLY PRECISE. I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DAUGHTERS HAIR LOOK SO GOOD. SHE WAS SO HAPPY TO HAVE HER HER STRAIGHTENED FINALLY,AND THE SMILE ON HER FACE HAS NOT LEFT SINCE WE WERE THERE ON WED. THE STAFF WAS UNBELIEVABLE AND I FELT LIKE I KNEW YOU FOREVER. SHE IS GOING TO START SCHOOL WITH SO MUCH CONFIDENCE AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE WAY YOU MADE HER LOOK. THIS SALON IS THE BEST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!THE STAFF WAS AMAZING . THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I HAVE BEEN THERE SINCE THEY CHANGED OWNERS FROM EVOLUTION SALON. SUSSY DID MY HAIR LAST TIME AND SHE WAS AMAZING UNFORTUNATLY I DINT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT THIS TIME WHEN I HAPPENED TO PASS BY AND SHE WAS BOOKED SO I WENT TO ROSE AND OMG FABULOUS! ROSE, SUSSY AND THE REST OF THE STAFF THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY HAIR LOOK INCREDIBLE. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE FREE PARAFIN AND DEEP CONDITION TREATMENT WONDERFUL. THANK YOU SOO MUCH.
