Tran, Ai-Nhi, Md - Adobe Ob/Gyn Assoc

I don't know where to start: -pressured me to have a C-section every appointment, finally left and had a perfectly natural birth. Later I found out she had one of the highest C-section rates in Tucson. -pressured me into having a D&C with my miscarraige and told me I was stupid for wanting it to pass naturally. -would gossip about other patients to me during appointments. I think this was her way of 'bonding'. -staff was so rude, I hated going to appointments more

Dr. Tran has been my ob/gyn for 8 years. She's delivered my 3 daughters and I have NEVER had one problem with her. She is easy to talk to, and makes you feel as comfortable as possible on your check ups and during labor. Her bedside manner is excellent. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family. more

DR TRAN IS AWESOME! I HAVE HAD HER AS MY OB WITH BOTH MY KIDS AND SHE IS MY GYN DR. I HAVE RECOMMENDED HER TO MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. SHE IS RUSHED AT HER APPT'S BUT I WORK FOR A DR AND MOST DR'S ARE THAT WAY. THEY HAVE OTHER PATIENTS TO SEE ALSO. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE IS THAT SHE WASN'T ABLE TO DELIVER MY 1ST CHILD BECAUSE MY SON DECIDED TO BE BORN WHEN SHE WAS ON VACATION. more

Dr. Tran was one of my OB's associates and was on call when my water broke at 34 wks. I was in the hospital for more than 3 hours before I realized she had been there the whole time too. i.e. She never came in to see me until the nurse passed on my astonishment at finding out she was in the L&D ward and yet never presented herself. Then she came in all smiles. My other experience with her was after me son was born. I suffered from an acute case of nipple thrush for 4-6 months. Every Lactation Consultant whom I consulted with was positive that I had an extremely stubborn case of nipple thrush and that I needed a most aggressive treatment requiring a medical prescription. Dr. Tran was convinced otherwise and gave the prognosis that I was suffering from the breast pain because, "Patient has large, pendular breasts and doesn't wear a bra." After that prognosis, I switched doctors to one who immediately prescribed the treatment that the Lactation Consultants had been recommending. This new OB was candid and humble enough to let me know that in medical school doctors get exactly ZERO hours of education in breastfeeding and related problems! more

Dr. Tran is very knowledgeable in a wide variety of womens health issues. She examined me, diagnosed my problem and offered a wonderfully workable solution. She is very up to date on the latest solutions available. She is always cheerful, a great listener, and someone I can talk with regarding my most personal concerns regarding my health. more

I would not refer anyone to Dr. Tran. Period. She is known as a "cutter", meaning that she does more episitomies than almost any other doctor in town. A good friend who is a labor and delivery nurse at TMC said that she cuts in 90% of her deliveries. Yikes. She does not have a good bedside manner and is rude to patients and nurses. more

I used her as my frist OB. This was a huge mistake. I had nothing but rushed care and bad service from her. The others in her practice were good and took time with you but Dr. Tran made you feel as though she had other things more important than you and your baby to deal with. During labor, she wanted to do a procedure which I would not allow her to do and she stormed out of the room, very unprofessionally and can back in to yell at me while I was having contractions. She does not want anyone but herself in charge and just wants her patients to go along with what she thinks is best. But You are the patient and it is Your body so it is your ultimate call in what you want done. more
